Ahhhh so, good luck with this chapter loves.

Also, there's gonna be a reference to Kenny in this chapter - make sure to remember the quote.

Y/N

"Levi!" She called excitedly, grabbing her boyfriend's hand as she jumped up and down on her feet excitedly. She had planned out an entire date for the two of them in the gap in the Underground. It was going to be special.

"Yea?" He questioned, allowing her to lift him up off of the ground slightly like she always did. His normally stoic eyes held a sense of warmth in them, as they always did. She truly made him happy, made him truly embrace the emotions that he had buried deep inside his heart.

Trust was a given. Love was a given. Communication was a given.

They had so little in their lives, but to them, each other was enough.

"Come on! I'm taking you out."

"Yeah? Where?" He sent her a small smirk, taking her hands in his as she finally put him down. She was always the kind of person to be rather impulsive, tending to drag Levi any place she wanted to go. He'd be lying if he said he didn't like that about her, however.

"You'll see!" She smirked deviously at him, and Levi once again smirked back. If he had any money, he would bet that she was taking him to the hole in the underground - the place she always took him for their dates.

Levi couldn't help but admire her as he was pulled down the disgusting streets of the underground. He knew that the older, scrawny and disgusting men were watching them - two small kids running around, carefree, as if they weren't a few years away from their own deaths, their own demises. That was the fate of the Underground.

Something Kenny had always said to him, and Y/N.

"You don't survive easily, kiddos. You either be a weakling and die, or become your own enemy to protect the lives of your friends. Take yer' pick."

The two of them had took that advice to heart - always remembering it. It was mainly what helped them survive - but Y/N never dirtied her hands.

-

"Hah!" She smiled heartily as she tackled Levi to the ground, said boy laughing, which was a rare occasion, and tackling her right back.

The two of them rolled around in the small patch of grass that had grown, pushing and shoving at each other playfully. Levi had made a joke about a bird that had fallen out of the sky, and Y/N got mad - so here they were.

"Tch. Do you think we'll be able to be together forever, Y/N?" Y/N looked over at her boyfriend as he looked up at the sky. They were now sat on a small picnic blanket Levi had knitted for them once, their small, frail hands held in each other's. Levi was only like this around her, only ever able to show the innocence he truly had around her. She appreciated it.

"Of course we can!" She immediately responded, her smile widening into a toothy grin. No lies were slipping from her lips, she meant what she said. Levi meant the world to her, and she would never let him go. "You're my world, Levi, my purpose. We're only young but that just leaves us endless opportunities of the things we can experience together, live together. I only want to experience this world if I have you by my side."

"Then why can't you remember me?"

-

"Heads up! The main unit of the Scout Regiment is back!"
