"Did you attack Michael Jackson last night?" Detective Rodgers walked in circles around the interrogation table I was sitting at.
"No, wh-why are you asking me these questions? I wouldn't hurt Michael." I said, certain. I seriously would never lay a hand on him.
"So, you're on a first-name basis with Mr. Jackson, were you with him prior to the attack?" She asked.
I covered my face in my hands. I didn't know what to say, what would happen if I said yes, what would happen if I said no?
"I-I, maybe." I sighed into the cracks of my hands. I just want to go back to the hospital and see Michael. She's stopping me.
Rodgers opened her mouth to ask another question, I guess but the door to the interrogation room opened and a dark-skinned woman in a blue suit stepped inside. "You're done here." She said to Rodgers.
Rodgers scrunched her eyebrows at the woman. "And who are you?"
"I'm Lisa Crowley, Diana's lawyer." She smiled at me.
Even though I didn't ask for a lawyer I smiled back.
"Come on, Diana. You're going home." She grabbed my arm softly, leading me toward the door. Flashing a 'Ha, bitch,' look at Rodgers.
Thank you lawyer, I think with excitement.
