"What in the heavens is wrong with you?" Janet nearly screamed at him as she filled a glass of water in the kitchen sink.
Michael shrugged. "I don't know," he sighed. "But could you keep your voice down? Louise is still here."
Janet gulped down half of her water. "I don't care, Michael," she dumped her cup in the sink. "We just found out that Diana was killed in that bombing and you're having sex the day afterward?"
Michael couldn't hold it in anymore, he felt like he'd been repressing the sob, but it came out loudly. He clutched the counter for support.
"Oh, Michael." She breathed, approaching him and slipping her arms around his neck. "I'm sorry."
He sucked in a breath, before letting out a choked sob, followed my others until he was full on wailing into his sister's neck.
"She's gone, Janet, she's gone." Michael said over and over.
