I couldn't put my finger on why I felt so deliciously warm and comfy last night, maybe that's because I haven't opened my eyes yet. I'm afraid that when I do, everything is going to come crashing back and ruin it.

But I did anyway and realized why I was comfortable.

Jermaine's arm was wrapped around my shoulder and I was snuggled into his chest. I breathed in his scent, like coconut.

"Do you always sniff the person you wake up with?" It was Jermaine's voice, he spoke as he pulled his arms back from me and sat up on my bed, I could lie and say I was glad he did it. But I wasn't.

I watched him crawl off of the bed and slip his feet into his shoes, then he grabbed his jacket and pulled it on.

"No." I whispered, sitting up on my knees. "Do you have to go?"

Jermaine sighed, smoothing his hair back and trying to fix his coat in the mirror of my bedroom.

"My family is going to wonder about my whereabouts." He said softly, staring at me deeply. "So, yes Diana, I do. But if there's a real reason for me to stay I could..."

"No." I said quickly, slipping off the bed and unzipping my dress in the back. I didn't want him to worry about me. "Everything's fine. I just need a shower and some breakfast."

Something made a chiming sound and I jumped, looking over at Jermaine who dug into his pocket and fished out his cell phone. He read whatever was on the screen. "Ugh, it's Janet. I gotta go now."

He rushed past me, out of my bedroom door.

But then he slipped back into my bedroom and pecked my forehead.

I blushed. "Goodbye Jermaine."
