"Looks like someone had a good time last night," Tony said as he and some of our friends joined me at the table for breakfast.

"Uh, I don't know what you're talking about," I said before shoveling eggs and sausages into my mouth.

"We're not blind, Ike," Jared said before pointing at RB who's at the other table with the other girls. He's just staring absentmindedly in front of him with a blank, dazed look on his face. The biggest giveaway was the small flock of tiny butterflies made of pink diamond flying around him.

"We've been friends for quite some years now. We also know how to read RB's mood with the help of his crystals," Philip added before elbowing me hard.

I just rolled my eyes before drowning myself in a pitcher of orange juice. Thankfully, Nicolo and Matilda passed by and I had the opportunity to escape the taunts of my friends.

"Where's Ezekiel?" I asked as I followed them to the serving counter. "I haven't seen him since last night."

"The seniors have left to visit some of their remaining connections in the capital city," Matilda replied. "Ezekiel has also been trying to ask help from the Agents International. Unfortunately, the government is hindering them from investigating the recent events in our country. Even your rescue mission from last night hasn't been reported in any news outlets. The Legion is trying their best to cover up all the resistance against them."

The Healer looked at me with a faint smile on her face. "Have you checked if your powers are back?"

I frowned. "Uh. . . Not yet."

"Why don't you give it a try?" she asked.

"Okay?"

I took a deep breath before flicking my hand to conjure fire.

My entire hand almost exploded as huge tongues of green flame suddenly erupted from it. Even the other people inside the dining hall looked at me in surprise as green light suddenly flooded the room. I jumped in surprised and outstretched my hand as far away from myself as possible.

Nicolo and Matilda just smiled. "Well, looks like you're all good," the latter said.

"I. . . I haven't produced this green fire before. Well, apart from last night, of course," I said.

"It only means that your powers are back and they're stronger than ever. Ezekiel has always looked at fusion as something dangerous, something that should be controlled. I, on the other hand, have always looked at it as one of the most mysterious and beautiful things that weirdos can do. With RB now back with us, I wouldn't be surprised if you two start discovering powers that you didn't know you had before. Nicolo and I have to eat our breakfast. Today's your free day, so you can explore and wander around. Have a good day."

I just stared stupidly at the two as they walked away from me.

"I think you broke RB," Faye suddenly whispered behind me. "His butterflies have now lessened considerably. You should've seen the swarm of butterflies that was following him last night. Ah. . . Love."

"Can you guys please stop talking about RB and me? There's this thing called privacy, for your info," I said as I headed out of the dining hall.

"I see. What happens in the forest, stays in the forest," Alice added with a chuckle.

I just rolled my eyes.

"By the way, it's good to see that your powers are back. Your fire looked so powerful. I guess we all just have to be thankful that you two are now back to each other and better than ever," Faye said.
