Chapter 54: Game Changer

"You're dead. You are so dead."

RB just glared fiercely at Serafina, his hands and legs bound tightly by strings made of black liquid. He's also floating in the air, along with the several chunks of the capital city that flew with them. High above them, almost reachable by hands, was the universe with its stars and planets and galaxies. Below them was a sprawling expanse of blue, green, and white. RB and his mother are currently several thousands of feet above the Earth.

Serafina just ignored her son and continued to look down on the planet below them.

"You should try jumping," RB said with a grin. "You're immortal, so you should try to create a montage of suicide attempts. That will make you really famous, if that's what you're aiming for. Just upload it on the internet."

The lady in black ignored him.

"Oh, just accept it. We were able to fool you several times. Our friends were able to save me. We also found my heart. PWRI went up in flames. No matter how many times you convince yourself that you're powerful, we were still able to win against you several times. Even tonight, we were leading you around by your nose. Look, all your minions are DEAD! You're all alone now, Serafina!" RB said with a mad laugh.

Several spears made of black liquid shot at RB, but he just stared at them blankly.

"Stop."

The spears froze inches away from RB's face. "I wonder why you couldn't do that anymore? Oh wait, I know. YOU NO LONGER HAVE CONTROL OVER THE DEATH CORE, YOU FILTHY BITCH!" RB said before bursting out laughing.

"Dang it. I'm so overpowered and crazy. Something is really wrong with my brain. Maybe I got it from you," RB added. "Delphina also told us that Ike should also be able to do that 'stop' thingy and such, but it seems that power has developed well with the dark nature of the Death Core. I mean, those force commands should only work on living beings, but it seems that the Prime Destruction amplified that ability so that it can influence non-living things as well. Man, Delphina is wise. Remember her? Remember how she gave up on you and chose our side? It's because she knew from the very start that you're going to lose. Even if you win tonight, you will always be a very sore loser. Did you hear that, woman? A VERY SORE AND UGLY LOSER!"

Several black spears shot towards RB and hovered around him. "SHUT UP!"

RB just smirked triumphantly, his purple eyes gleaming. "I got in your head, bitch. It seems that you're not as mentally tough as you pretend to be."

"What would you feel if I kill your beloved Ike right in front of you?" Serafina asked him.

"Then you will experience firsthand the wrath of all the rings of hell," RB replied simply. "Do you seriously think that I'd let you lay even a finger on Ike? You'd have to kill me first before that happens, crazy woman."

"Don't worry, my dear son," Serafina said with a meaningful grin. "I will."

The lady in black suddenly squinted at her son. "What on Earth happened to your face?"

RB smirked. "Finally noticed, huh? Well, when you tried to make me hurt my friends when they tried to rescue me, Ike dashed towards me and accidentally injured my face. Do I look ugly with these cracks?" he said, tilting his head to show his cracked temple to Serafina.

The latter frowned at him. "And yet you're still with him? Your Ike hurt you."

"Look who's talking. Besides, Ike did say that I look prettier with these cracks. You've always looked at me as your most prized, most perfect weapon. Sorry to say this to you but I am not perfect, and neither are you. Too bad Ike's the only person who can heal this," RB said.
