Several months later. . .

The soaring peaks of the Terreña Mountain Range are currently being bathed by the soft glow from the full moon. Dark and cold, the forest clothing the mountains emitted an enchanting music as the wind disturbed the leaves and branches. Harmonizing with this peaceful noise were the sounds of hundreds of insects enjoying the beautiful night.

Two people are currently walking on a path under the cover of trees. One of them was wearing plain blue robes, while the other was clothed in a billowing black cloak. Despite the darkness around them, the two walked with total confidence, indicating their mastery of the terrain.

"The forest looks better now," Professor Elena said to her brother.

"Well, all thanks to our Plant Magic Weirdos and the head start from Ike. This forest should heal soon," Ezekiel replied, gliding like a ghost as he led the way.

"It's amazing that the place was untouched despite all the chaos that happened here," the lady in blue said.

"Exactly," her companion replied. "I was pretty sure it had been pulverized by the attack."

Despite the massive conflagration that nearly destroyed the Terreña Mountains several months ago, the entire terrain is now recovering well. All thanks to the efforts of the Purgers as well as Ike. They also rebuilt the Woodland Mansion and the destroyed Purger camps.

The path they're walking on suddenly opened up, revealing a vast circular clearing in the middle of trees. The clearing was occupied by hundreds of stones arranged in a circle around a structure at the center of the graveyard. The structure has a towering central obelisk surrounded by shorter and smaller stone columns arranged in a hexagram around the obelisk. Inscribed on the floor of the structure were strange carvings and symbols. The strangest thing about the structure was perhaps the broken oval mirror attached on the side of the obelisk facing the main entrance of the graveyard.

The Evanescas stood in total silence at the entrance to take a look at the solemn place.

"Your family has done a great job protecting this place," Ezekiel said with a faint smile before walking towards one of the tombstones at the outermost part of the circle.

"Well, it's been centuries. With me finally getting married, the Evanesca surname has finally come to an end. We've had a good, long run. I can confidently say that I am genuinely proud to be a member of a noble bloodline," Professor Elena said.

"Thank you. . ."

The Temporal Weirdo raised an eyebrow. "For?"

"For everything," Ezekiel replied as he knelt in front of a tombstone. "Your forefathers helped me realize the beauty and importance of this world. They gave me a second a chance. They never gave up on me. I would be forever grateful to your family for accepting me as one of your own."

The guy in black ran a hand across the tombstone he's facing. Written on its surface, barely legible from all the weathering and erosion, was the name Ezekiel Lucas Ytteria Evanesca.

"Do you think he'll be proud?" the guy in black asked Professor Elena.

The latter smiled gently. "If our little brother had lived, he would've been just like you, Cygnus."

"Thank you."

Professor Elena eyed the young man. "You do know of course that Ike and RB have some questions about you? They are suspecting something. What are you going to say to them?"

Ezekiel chuckled. "That's why I'm going to disappear for now. I finally quit AI. Emerald doesn't need my help anymore. Ike and RB can now look after themselves. My job is done. . . for now. Maybe I'll wander around the world for a bit. Explore. Besides, I do have a new mission to fulfill."
