This is the second to the final update of the 2nd arc. Probably last note ko na rin po ito for the entire series. Sa mga magde-dedic sa akin, hindi ko na po muna kayo mapo-promote. I want to keep the 3rd arc clean and free from distractions as much as possible.

"Okay. We have to be quick. I still don't believe that this place is safe," Ezekiel said.

"What should we do?" RB asked.

Ezekiel eyed the orb of darkness. Now that we're close to it, I could actually hear faint whispers coming from the orb. "Nobody touch that thing. Jelal, those black smoke, are they Dark Magic? I could feel their presence, but I need your confirmation," he asked the Fear Weirdo

Jelal ran his hands around the orb without touching it. "Positive. This is Serafina's Dark Magic. Surprisingly, this barrier is easy to break. I can remove or at least hold back the Dark Magic while you guys extract the Core."

"Don't remove that thing. At least for now," the guy in black said. "If we remove that magic, RB might die. Serafina might even feel our presence. Remember, that Dark Magic is also present inside RB. We have to be careful."

"But we can't bring that thing with us," I said.

Ezekiel eyed RB for several moments. "Cataleya, make RB fall asleep."

"What are you going to do?" asked RB.

"We're going to return your heart to you."

I held RB's hand tightly. "It's okay. I'm here. You won't get hurt."

He stared at me for several seconds before nodding and turning to the Seer. "Do it."

Cataleya approached RB before putting her glowing hands on the latter's temple. She then said some strange words under her breath, causing RB to suddenly collapse. Ezekiel immediately caught him with his Telekinesis, making RB's body float in the air.

"Jelal, when I give the signal, pull all those Dark Magic away from the Core without removing them," Ezekiel said to the Fear Weirdo before turning to me. "Enter your Prime state, Ike; then you and I are going to reach for the Core inside. Faye will help us maintain the purity of the heart as we put it inside RB. Thankfully, we don't have to slit his chest open. This is RB's power — it will find a way to return to its rightful owner."

I nodded before closing my eyes and taking a deep breath, activating the lightning markings all over my body and face. Faye's hair and eyes also glowed, while black smoke erupted around Jelal's body.

"Got it," I said.

"Good. Jelal. . . Go."

The Fear Weirdo clasped his hands on the sides of the orb before slowly moving them away from each other. As if being magnetized away from their places, the black smoke followed Jelal's hands.
