"DUCK!"

A blast wave made of blue fire suddenly swept across the land, blasting away or burning everyone and everything in its path. Thankfully, Faye, Alice, Tony, and Jelal were able to dive towards the ground moments before the blast reached them. The four of them looked back and saw Tyrone Judeus and Professor Sivera engaged in a heated battle.

"Can we please get the hell out of here?" Faye shouted as they scrambled away. "I don't want to be roasted alive!"

The group has just battled and taken down a group of villains and are now looking for Ike and RB. They were separated from the two the moment the fighting started. With Ezekiel's clear and simple order ringing in their heads, the group tried to search for the Primes in the crowd.

"The separation was intentional," Tony said as he shot several airborne villains who were bombarding a tower where several gunners are positioned. "I think the Legion is up to something."

"I mean, duh, they only have to take one of them," Faye agreed. "Once any of them is captured, the other will surely run after him. Even Serafina doesn't have to use that much brainpower to realize that."

"I'm sure they'll be fine," Jelal said, casting a Shield Charm in front of everyone to block a barrage of spells that suddenly flew towards them. The spells hit the barrier and rebounded, blasting their attackers away.

"Are you sure you don't have split personalities?" Faye asked the Fear Weirdo. "You can be a villain and a singing princess at the same time with your contrasting attitudes."

Jelal sighed wearily. "I'm telling you, this is my true personality. My weirdness doesn't have anything to do with the way I behave or think."

A jet of smoky green light suddenly hit Jelal's arm, toppling him to the ground. The sleeve of his battle suit burned and smoked, revealing a patch of bleeding, wounded skin. Faye and the others immediately knelt around him.

"What the hell was that?!" the Healer exclaimed as she ran her glowing hands all over the fresh wound. "Are you feeling okay?"

"I'm fine. Thanks," Jelal said as his wound healed a little bit with every flourish of Faye's hand. "I think I know where that came from."

Three people suddenly emerged from the darkness behind them. Faye and the group immediately recognized their faces from the many times that they've encountered each other, especially during the night when the villains attacked the Woodland Mansion.

"It's been a long time, Jelal," Sid, the person in the middle, said. On his either side were Freda and Merida. Faye and the rest of the group immediately stood up and braced themselves for combat.

"This is my fight," the Fear Weirdo said to the others. "I don't want to drag you in this mess. They all want me dead, and I can let you risk your lives for me. Go ahead. Search for Ike and RB. They need you. They're more important than me."

None of the three moved. "Don't be stupid," Faye snapped at him. "You're part of the family now. In this family, no one gets left behind. Besides, we've been itching to get back at these imbeciles for killing a lot of our classmates and friends."

Tony loaded his bow with explosive arrows before aiming them at the three. "The enemy of one. . ."

". . .is the enemy of everyone," Alice added, her metallic ropes flicking behind her.

Freda, the Poison Smoke Weirdo, laughed heartily as she eyed the four. "Look, they all want to play. These little kids think they can win against us."

"Well, we don't want a one-sided, boring fight, do we?" Merida added with a snicker.

Faye's eyes and hair glowed with a blinding white light. "Of course."
