"This is my aunt, Edina Evanesca. She is the current leader of the Purebloods," the guy in black said, gesturing at the lady carrying at least two swords on her either side, a bow, and a stash of arrows behind her.

"The Purebloods?" Ike asked in surprise. "But I thought they hated. . ."

"The Purebloods," Ezekiel repeated. "Also, things have changed a bit recently. I came to their island several months ago to personally persuade them to join our cause. As you can see, I just received their response tonight."

"No wonder you guys look alike," RB said. "But seriously, you Evanescas have some serious family issues."

Ezekiel almost smiled. "Well, I guess it runs in the family. Anyway, these two kids here are Ike and RB, the holders of the Prime Elemental and Prime Destruction respectively. They're also the beloved students of the old hag," he said, turning to his aunt.

"It's an honor to meet you," Edina said to the two before shaking hands with them.

Ike and RB nodded politely at the lady, obviously intimidated by her mighty Amazonian aura. Ezekiel immediately briefed the Purebloods about their role in tonight's battle.

Despite their efforts to quell the tension and nervousness that they're feeling, the people inside Emerald still seemed restless and apprehensive. Ike and RB were guiding the people on the ground when the bells in the clock tower suddenly clanged loudly, their noise echoing all over the school grounds. It's already ten in the evening, and nearly all the people on the ground looked up at the tower as the bells clanged ten consecutive times. The noise eventually subsided, leaving a heavy, suffocating silence all over the school.

"As always, you have failed me," Serafina suddenly said, her voice seeming to come from everywhere. Nearly all the people flinched in surprise as they looked up or around themselves. "Now you will suffer the consequences of your defiance. I am now commanding my forces to unleash hell on everyone inside the Emerald School of Magic. To Ike Lunaria and Rubio Talla, all the deaths that will be happening tonight are entirely your fault. Bloodshed could've been prevented if you hadn't hidden behind the people who are about to sacrifice their lives just to delay me. To my forces on the ground, BRING ME THEIR HEARTS!"

Ike and RB held hands, their eyes locking onto each other for a long moment.

The darkness beyond the walls of the school suddenly faded as hundreds of fireballs, rockets, spells, and other projectiles rose high into the air and flew towards Emerald, illuminating the dark sky. Ezekiel stepped forward before flourishing his hands towards the sky where a flat, circular barrier made of grids and lines suddenly appeared over the school and blocked the attacks. Explosions erupted high above Emerald, rattling everything on the ground.

Over the distance, thousands of people can be seen rushing towards the school at the same time. Even their shouts can be heard from a distance. Some were even flying, aided by either air or jets of fire. The remaining helicopters on the Legion's side also advanced, sending rockets and bombs on the people inside the school. Ike aimed his hands at the advancing rockets, causing them to stop in midflight and recurve back at the helicopters which exploded in an instant.

Bullets and rockets also erupted from the top of the buildings and shot towards the advancing villains, causing explosions to erupt outside the school.

"Elementals!" Professor Elena shouted.

Nearly all the Elemental Weirdos inside the school aimed their hands at their rampaging enemies, causing powerful winds, rain, and lightning to suddenly appear beyond the school walls. The Elemental Weirdos unleashed a massive storm on the charging villains, significantly slowing down their advance. For several moments, the people could hear nothing but the deafening rumbles of thunder and the deep howl of the wind.
