Author's Note: Okay so here's how the stories overlap. This chapter is a continuation of the Sins of the Past chapter of the same name. Similarly, the next chapter of the Sins of the Past will pick up where this chapter left off. And so on, and so on.

"Connor?"

Connor?

I turn to Faith.

"Who's Connor?"

"I'm Connor."

My focus turns to the skinny guy in the room.

"Okay, and who are you?"

Dawn speaks up at this point.

"He's the one who did this to me."

Looking over at my sister, she pulls on the restraints she's under.

Why is she being restrained? What's going on?

"What are you doing here Connor?"

And how the hell does Faith know this guy?

"I go to school here."

"I meant in this room."

Dawn again tries to get involved.

"He's trying to hurt me."

That makes Connor turn to Dawn.

"I'm not trying to hurt you."

I'd be willing to believe that if I knew who the hell he was.

"Then why exactly is my sister tied up?"

"For her own protection."

What? That doesn't make any sense.

"Why does my sister need to be protected?"

"I don't. This guy's just crazy."

Faith turns to me, attempting to reassure me.

"He's not crazy."

She turns to Connor.

"At least, I'm pretty sure he's not."

That has him holding up his hands.

"Trust me, I'm not crazy."

Dawn can't help but comment.

"Says the crazy person."

"Look, who the hell are you people?"

What kind of question is that?

"I'm her sister. The hospital called me and said my sister was hurt."

"Well I'm the one who brought her in here."

I'm not sure if I believe that.

"And he did it against my will."

Is he holding her against her will? Maybe I need to break her out.

"Well, I'm guessing that since you're her sister, that means you're a slayer?"

He knows about slayers?

"How do you know about slayers?"

Dawn tries to interject.

"I told him about them."

"No, actually, you didn't. I already knew about them."

Is that how Faith knows him? How long have they known each other? He seems pretty young.
