"Ahhh... this is what I've been missing... who knew floating on a piece of driftwood for 3 weeks with no food or water and seavulgers waiting to pluck out your liver can make one so tense!" Iroh exclaimed while being massaged gently.
Cherry blossoms fell by soft against the breeze. I sat by Zuko who had his common look of hatred in his eyes for his Uncle's shenanigans. After we finally got out of the sea Iroh insisted the first thing we do was go to a spa. Honestly I couldn't blame him.
Today though, Zuko was extra upset... all he did was stare at the ground coldly. I patted his back lightly as his Uncle walked over to console him,
"I see...it's the anniversary isn't it?"
"Three years ago today (Y/N) and I were banished... I lost it all.. and I want it back... I want the Avatar... I want my honor... my throne... I want (Y/N) to be home safe... I want my father to not think I'm worthless.."
"I'm sure he doesn't! Why would he banish you if he didn't care?" Iroh said trying to lighten the mood "that came out wrong didn't it?..."
"Zuko..." I muttered grabbing his arm as he stood up " you will get it all back... I promise... you know I don't break promises..."
"How do you know that (Y/N)?" He urged taking his hand off mine "And shouldn't you be mad too...? You got dragged away from your home... your family... everything! All because of my sister."
"I have learned to deal with it on my own time! Do you think I could ever forget? It was far too many years ago now...but I still remember like it was yesterday..."
The palace felt so cold and distant even though fire surrounded it. Something was wrong.. I just didn't know what...
I saw Azula walking down the hallway... she was humming some cryptic tune.
"oh hello (Y/N)... been some time hasn't it?"
"Azula.. you're awful chipper..."
"Oh it's just ZuZu..."
"W-what about Zuko?" I panicked
"You haven't heard? Zuko's going to be gone for a long long time.. Father banished him..."
"What?" I questioned my voice trembling
"You better say bye bye to ZuZu... because you're never going to see him again"
A tear fell down my cheek
"Why don't you stop your father Azula? Please... I beg you... he'll listen to you! Zuko's your own brother have you no mercy!"
Her expression went from happy to angry in a second
"You really are funny (Y/N)... if I didn't know any better you sound like a traitor to the Firenation... perhaps you'd like to join Zuko? I'm sure no one will miss you here..."
"You wouldn't dare Azula... this isn't funny!"
"Oh... but I would.... guards! Guards seize her... tell Father we have another traitor among us"

"Look at these magnificent shells! I'll enjoy these keepsakes for years to come...." Iroh said pouring out shells on the spa table
"We don't need anymore useless things! You forget we have to carry everything ourselves now..." Zuko replied harshly to his Uncle
"Hello brother... Uncle... (Y/N)... "
I turned my head Azula... I froze the moment I saw her... Zuko stepped in front of me grabbing my hand
"What are you doing here..."
"In my country we exchange a pleasant hello before asking questions.. have you become uncivilized so soon ZuZu?"
