Lunch

Set the day after "recuperation". The commander calls in M4 for a special request.

*knock* *knock*

"Come in M4"

"Can I help you with anything Commander?"

"I have a request"

"What is it commander?"

"W-Would you like to go out for lunch with me today?"

"Of course that would be great! sir"

"Please arrive at the garage by 12:30 please"

"Understood"

It took the commander some time to figure out where to go to begin with, he could have brought her to the on-site cafe but with all the other dolls around it might not be wise, certainly not anyplace in the area near those black market places, it makes him shudder to think about what happens, but after some searching he found a nice cafe a 30 minute drive from the base, it seemed pretty nice all around, giving a call to the restaurant to reserve a seat.

"Commander?"

"What is it Springfield?"

"I just wanted to wish you luck on your date ufufu"

"S-Springfield! It's not a d-date alright I just wanted to invite her o-out!"

"good luck commander!"

*2 hours later"

With the time by now 12:27, the Commander heads to the garage to wait, a few minutes later M4 arrives, the commander opens the passenger side door of the hummer to help her inside before lightly closing the door and stepping into the drivers side and heading out of the base.

"I'm sorry this isn't a limousine"

M4 giggles at his terrible joke before replying

"I don't mind commander, but thanks for taking me out for lunch"

The rest of the ride was in silence before they finally arrived, the commander opening the door for her before heading inside seating themselves at the reserved spot a table in the corridor away from the main crowd and attention, Still a few murmurs arose as the two entered and took there spot.

"Hello can I get you anything?"

"Of course two waters please" 

"Alrighty anything else?"

After consideration, some joking around the two settled on two soups.

"Commander I wanna know why did you invite me out ?"

"It's just these past few days I felt you might feel better if we went out and had some rest and relaxation"

"You didn't't have to do that for me commander I'm fine you don't need to worry about me, please I don't want you over stressing yourself"

"M4?"

"Yes commander?"

"I know your over-stress yourself as the leader of the AR team, and I have never been able to find the time to tell you this, but listen to me your stronger than you think you are, your doing just fine right now, don't let anyone keep you down or discourage you, you are more than a doll your way more than anything I have ever known, so stay strong please"

"T-Thank you commander, I promise I will do my best commander"

"You don't need to push yourself that much M4 I just need you to stay strong and stay with me"

"I -I promise I will"

"Thank you M4"

Their food arrives and they both finish their share off before driving back to base, the ride back in the hummer is much more social and talkative and by the end when the commander parks the car in the garage, M4 is sound asleep in the passenger seat, the commander sighs as he walks over picking up the sleeping doll and carrying her to his office before placing her in his bed to rest, as he leaves the commander bends down and gives M4 a kiss on the forehead before whispering.

"I love you M4"

As he turns to leave exiting the office he hears.

"I love you too commander"

He can only smile as he exits the office.

Sorry if this seemed too dry/forced guys I'm sorry I can't seem to get something out of mind, so yeah don't worry I will fix this (somehow) special apologies to Saber as he followed me through all of this, gonna probably revise this sooner or later, appreciated if anyone gave any suggestions or feedback.
