Chanyeol and Ji Eun were standing in the open field of Namiseom Island, which is actually 63 km away from Seoul. Chanyeol always go here. Whenever he's lonely, he goes to Namiseom.
"When I'm in this place, I feel so happy. It's like my home. I feel so open like I could just shout and throw my hand in the air." Chanyeol said.
"Then shout! Shout to what your thoughts want you to shout. Shout what you want to tell people but you couldn't because you can't. Be happy, shout!!" Ji Eun exclaimed.
Chanyeol didn't waste a moment; he shouted into the air.
"I wish that there will be no more sadness in this world!"
"Please keep my friends and family always happy and safe!!"
"I want to punch everybody I'm mad at!" Chanyeol shouted.
After shouting, he looked at Ji Eun, with heavy breathing.
"Okay?" Ji Eun asked.
"Not yet. Last one." Chanyeol replied as he smiled and placed his two hands around his mouth and shouted--
"I wish Kai would never hurt Ji Eun anymore!! I don't want to see her sad and cry, too!" Chanyeol shouted off with a blast.
Ji Eun looked at him.
"Because, I love her and I can't bear it to see her sad." Chanyeol said sincerely, looking into Ji Eun.
Ji Eun came in close to Chanyeol and stared at him. She suddenly kissed him in the cheeks.
"Yah, gomawo. (Hey, thanks.)" Ji Eun muttered.
"Uhh...Sarang--" Chanyeol about to reply and turning brightly red, got cut off when his phone rang. "Oh, a call." He muttered.
He looked at the phone's screen and saw Kai's name.
Chanyeol's P.O.V.
Should I answer? Or not? Ji Eun is with me, I can't answer this call.
"Who is it?" Ji Eun stared at me, asking who is it who is calling me.
"Uh, it's Kai." I distressedly answered.
I clearly saw Ji Eun frown. I know I shouldn't answer Kai but I have to.
"Yah, don't turn that smile into a frown. Don't worry, I won't let him know that you're with me." I smiled at her happily.
I answered Kai's call.
"Yoboseyo?"
"Yah Kai, waeyo? (Hey Kai, why?)" I asked.
"Did Ji Eun called you? Or even texted?" He asked.
I knew this was what he wanted to ask me. Of course, Ji Eun and I are the only ones absent today. He feel suspicious, I know. I had a hard time answering his question. I looked at Ji Eun and she looked back at me like she wants me to tell Kai that I haven't seen her.
"No, mianhe. (No, sorry.) Why?" I pretended.
"Nothing. It's just that... nothing. Kamsahamnida. (Thank you.)" Kai said then abruptly ended the phone call.
"What did he said?" Ji Eun asked, looking at the view given by the field.
"He was asking me if you ever texted me or called me." I answered.
"I don't want to see him anymore. I don't like to get hurt again." Ji Eun replied with almost-crying eyes.
"Hey, don't worry. When you're with me, you'll never be unhappy. Ever again. Remove Kai from your thoughts right now and just be happy, please." I responsed. "Now, shall we go and eat ice cream? Or do you want to go shopping?" I jokingly asked.
"How about... we do the two!" Ji Eun cheerfully laughed.
Everytime she smiles, it feels like everything around me is different. She has the most sublime smile I have ever seen. She may not be the prettiest for everybody but when she smiles, she is so perfect. It's like I could see her smiling at me every second of every day. I don't know, but when I realized that I love her, it felt like I wasn't empty and lonely anymore.
"Okay!" I actively replied.
A few minutes have passed, and I took her to the nearest mall.
"Is it okay if we go out together in there? Your fans might.." Ji Eun whispered.
"Yeah, it's fine. Wear this sunglasses, and I'll wear mine for a disguise." I replied as I handed her the other sunglasses I have.
"But, I'm still in my pajamas." She muttered.
"Aish. You even look good and pretty in your pajamas. Don't worry." I smiled. "Shall we?" I asked.
"Ga ja! (Let's go!)" She excitingly cheered.
I opened the driver's door and went out. I went to her door and opened it. I held her hand to support her as she got out of the car.
"Let's have some fun!" I cheered.
