"Can you please investigate on everything that happened after my accident?" Kai asked the private investigator.

"What's the issue?" The investigator asked.

Kai swallowed a lump stuck on his throat. Kai told the investigator the whole story he needs to know. it went for hours and hours and the investigator was taking note about it.

"When and where did she gave birth to her son?" The investigator asked.

"I don't know when it was but I know that she gave birth in Miami." Kai replied.

"Okay.." The man muttered. "When did your friend gave her the aquamarine quartz necklace?"

"Exactly on the day of her birthday during our Senior year." Kai answered.

The investigator looked on his notes. Then looked at Kai.

"Well.. You can claim he's your son, but proving it wouldn't be as easy as you think it is." The investigator whispered. "I need a DNA sample of you, the girl, and her son. It can be their hair or fingernails. Saliva would be very complex so I wouldn't ask you to do it."

"If it's knowing the truth, then I would do it." Kai replied in a serious tone. "How can I do it?"

"It's up to you. I need the samples ASAP." The investigator muttered. "Thank you for doing business with me. I'll update you the first thing tomorrow morning."

The investigator stood up, smiled, and left like it was nothing. Kai held out his phone. He looked and stared at Ji Eun's picture on his phone.

"We'll be together again. We will be a family. I'm sorry for before, Ji Eun. I'm sorry." Kai muttered as tears fell from his face.

Abruptly, a marvelous idea popped into his head. He phoned Chanyeol.

"Hyung, can we take Alec out tomorrow? It's just me, him, and D.O." I asked.

"Oh, where are you taking him?" Chanyeol asked.

"To the mall, and somewhere he likes." I smiled. "I just want to develop some bond with him since they say he looks like me~ Kekekekekeke~!"

"Fine, fine. What time will you be here?" Chanyeol happily replied.

"I'll be there at 1 PM. Thanks hyung! See ya!" Kai answered then dropped the call.
