Chapter 14. Without her

Kai's P.O.V.

It's Monday. She's not in the house. She's not with me. I'm such a jerk. I decided to go to school early, just in case I find her there. But ni, you're so stupid Kai. I know she don't want to see me but I'm dying to see her. If I could just hug her and be with her for one more day before she ends everything with me. Kai, you're a jerk. I got to school and entered the room. Almost everybody was there except her. I walked towards Suho and looked at him.

"Good morning hyeong." I greeted.

"Good morning." He greeted back.

"What's up? Did you see Ji Eun?" I asked.

"Umm, nope. Why?" Suho replied.

"Nothing." I answered.

"Really? Hey, what's the matter? Is there something?" Suho asked.

"It's just that... I thought of Hyolyn yesterday, and Ji Eun was seated right next to me, sleeping in the car. Then a teardrop fell. She asked what's the matter but because of the wall between me and my brain, about thinking that time, I answered childishly and because of that, she ran away." I answered.

"What exactly did you say?" Suho asked.

"Stuff like I don't need her, and we're only getting married for their business and ours, but the truth is, I have really fallen into her and I really love her now. I'm such an idiot." I answered, putting my palm on my forehead.

"Aish~ Paboya. (Stupid.) Find her and say sorry to her." Suho adviced.

"That's the problem. I can't reach her phone, when I call she won't answer. I have leaven more than 20 calls there and I haven't got one call back." I answered.

"Then you should probably find her and say sorry to her, personally." Suho said.

"What if she doesn't want to see me anymore? What if she left already? What if she doesn't like me anymore? What if she left me? I can't lose her. I don't know, without her." I asked.

"Psh. You know what, do what it takes to find her and bring her back. It's your fault. You pushed yourself into this and you, yourself is the only one who could help you get out." Suho adviced.

Suddenly, the bell rang. It was discussion time and attendance checking time. Same routine.

"Okay, talk to you later." I told Suho as I walked towards my seat and sat.

Mr. Choi, our adviser, entered the room with his stuff and our attendance clipboard.

"Okay, raise when I call your name out." He announced.

One by one, boys and girls, he announced names. All of us raised our hands except for two who weren't there: Chanyeol and Ji Eun. When Mr. Choi said, "Park Chanyeol?" There was no Chanyeol to raise his hand. When it came down to "Yoon Ji Eun?" There was also no sign of Ji Eun raising a hand. Thoughts crawled into my mind. What? Only Ji Eun and Chanyeol are absent? Where are they?? I have to find out and ask for forgiveness. If she wants to be with Chanyeol now, fine. I have no option but to let her go.
