Chapter 15: Border

WINTER

Minulat ko ang aking mga ata at nakita sina Lia na agad na lumapit sa akin started asking lots of questions that made me sigh.

"Anong nangyari?" I asked that made them all stop then looked at me.

"You got attacked by a soul eater dont you remember?" Cassandra asked back.

Right the soul eaters. Mga animal na yun, pag ako talaga nakuha na yung power ko titirisin ko yung mga yun.

"How did i got here?"

Ang huling naalala ko kasi ay nawalan na ako ng malay, akala ko nga patay na ako dahil may kung anong iba sa pakiramdam ko. I feel so...shaggy? I Dont even know what does that mean yet thats the feeling that surely described it.

"Dinala ka namin rito." Karen spoked that made me somehow look away.

May napansin rin akong galos nito na kinangiwi ko. Kung hindi sana ako nasama sama  eh sila magkakaganiyan. They were doing well when i was not there.

Umalis ito that made me look at Lia na mukhang Alalang alala sa akin.

"Are you ok?"

"Oo naman noh, ako pa!" I smiled.

"Are you Sure? Ito na ang pangalawang beses na nadatnan ka naming nasa higaan ng ganto" shashy rolled her eyes.

"When are you gonna take care of yourself? Hindi naman pwedeng laging nandiyan sina ace or dane or Karen luca whoever will save you again. You need to stand up on your feet winter."

"Kasi malay mo, baka mamaya mawala kami sino ng magliligtas sayo?"

Napatikhim ako sa sinabi nito and started thinking about Mr. Pete. He kept telling me those simula nung magtraining na kami at hindi ko manlang magamit gamit ang mga natutunan ko sa kaniya.

Bakit ba kasi? Why cant i stand up for my own?

Thats not the case, i could..kaya ko for my self. But, facing soul eaters? Nawawalan ako ng lakas. They are my greatest fear.

"Im sorry. Hindi na mauulit"

"Good." Shashy smiled tsaka ako yinakap kasama ang dalawa. Wala kasi sina lexy at ang iba rito its just Lia, Cassandra, shashy and me.

"If your feeling better now, tumayo kana diyan at maligo. We are going somewhere."

Somewhere? Igagala nila ako?

Agad naman akong tumayo at sumunod sa mga itong bumalik muli sa dorm namin.

"Ang bilis ng p*ta" Cassandra laughed that made me glare at her.

"Alangan noh, gala toh" 

I went in my room to take a relaxing bath and after that agad naman akong nagpalit. I used the clothes uncle Pete gaved me the last time he came to visit. It's something like a jeans i think?

I had never worn them before and this is my first time. This is different from my outfit pag nangangabayo ako, kaya't nakakapanibago.

The top is a color black crop topped thing. Para akong na kulangan ng tela.

I grabbed my bag kung nasaan ang card ko at ang mga importanteng bagay sa akin. Its just a sling bag.

"Tara na?" I nodded at shashy and went out with the three of them.

Its saturday and students ate also out, pati nga sila iba't iba ang mga suot nila. We arent using our uniforms.

"San mo nakuha yang kwintas mo winter? Ang ganda ah" Cassandra spoked that made me look at my necklace then smiled.

"It was a gift"

"Galing kanino?" Pang-iinis ni shashy tsaka ako tiningnan with her creepy look. What is it this time?

"Someone really special?" I stated confused. Ano bang gusto nilang iparating?

"Like ace?"

Agad akong napangiwi ako umiling.

"Someone specially evil yun! Why would he give me such thing?" I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, why would he?" The three laughed together that made me shake my head.

"San nga pala tayu pupunta?" Hindi pa kasi nila sinabi. Meron bang somewhere na lugar sa buong mejesta?

"We are going to explore the world" they laughed. Why the h*ll do they keep laughing.

"Winter wag ka kasing mainip, lets just go there at baka pati ikaw maaliw sa makikita mo"

I listened to shashy and continued walking. We went to the secret gate on the side kung saan ay pumasok kami sa kagubatan. The forest is not dark normal na kagubatan lang, ang hangin hangin nga rito eh. Nakakahiya na nga kay shashy na naka palda lang.

"Our School is near the border of both the fairy and the witch world" Lia gaved a trivia that made me look at my surroundings in awe.

"Pero baka dahil sa hidwaan ng dalawang pangkat, they made a magic barrier that would prevent the witches to go to their world and prevent fairies to come at us."

Hinawi ng mga ito ang malaking dahon and suddenly, i saw a lake with..magic?

"This is the border, and that is the barrier" they showed me.

Talagang parang nahati ang mga ito. Magkaiba rin ang agos ng tubig, yung isa pabalik yun isa naman basta magkaiba talaga.

"This place is the most perfect place for picnics kaya tayo nandito"

Ah? Picnic?

I looked back at them and saw them already preparing things. They looked so happy and i cant help to be happy too.

Napalingon muli ako sa napakalawak na lawa at napangiti. An island would fit in here.

"Is it possible if we use magic to create an island here?" I asked sitting down.

"Oh Yeah about that, meron talagang isla diyan but because of the barrier it sank down." Saad ni Cassandra na naka subo na ng hotdog ngayon.

"Ang takaw takaw mo!" Suway ni Lia tsaka pinaghahampas ito.

Sank down?

SOMEONE

"Where did she go?" I asked looking at my peasants.

"S-she went with her friends to the bord—"

"ARE YOU STUPID?!I TOLD YOU SO MANY TIMES TO KEEP AN EYE ON HER!"

She cant be there.

"M-my q-queen—"

"GO!DONT LET HER KNOW!"

They all ran away while i massage my head in anger. Wala na bang mas tatanga pa sa kanila? They are so stupid.

"Your stressing yourself out"

"If she finds out what that stupid necklace could do were doomed."

"Why didnt you removed it in the first place?"

"How? It's protecting her, i cant even touch it."

"If it wasnt for her power, i couldve killed her years ago."
