Chapter 16: Doughlings

SHASHY

"Asan na si winter?" Tanong ko habang inaayos ang barbecue na pinapaluto nito. Sabi niya gusto niya ng ganto kaya ayan pinagluluto ko.

"Ngayon lang daw nakakita ng gantong karaming tubig kaya pumunta muna roon."

I looked at Cassandra and quickly gaved her a slap on the hand. Kanina pa kumakain tung animal na toh hindi na nagtira.

"Si Lia?"

"Alam mo kanina kapa tanong ng tanong hanapin mo kaya?" She rolled her eyes.

Agad ko namang hinablot ang kinakain nitong manok at pinanggigilan ito. Napaka gag* parin kahit kailan.

"Magluto ka ng kainin mo!"

"Eh! Joke lang kasi yun, Tara na hanapin natin" hinila nito ang braso and went through the shore to find the two.

Saan na kasi nagsususuot ang mga yun, sinabi ko namang wag silang lumayo ng husto at baka may magambala pa kami rito. Yet they didnt listen. Those brats.

"LIA!WINTER!" Cass yelled that made me push her to the side.

"Tumahimik ka nga, kakasigaw mo baka may magising tayo rito"

"Edi magising, malakas naman ako noh"

Hindi ko nalang ito pinansin at hinanap ang dalawa.

"Girls?" We looked back and saw Lia na may hawak hawak na basket full of fishes.

"Thank God your here, si winter kasama mo?"

"Ikaw na pala si Lia ngayon shashy" she laughed.

"No she isnt."

Then where could she be?

Bigla naman kaming hinila ni Cassandra pababa that made me look at her annoyed.

"Ano ba—"

"Shhh" she pointed at the tree behind us na tinitingnan ni Lia ngayon eyes wide open. A knife? No, something like a weapon..not just a knife..That's a squiber, one hit you'll be poisoned and only—

Suddenly Doughlings came out of nowhere laughing like maniacs. They looks so disgusting to be honest.

"WAHHAHAHA" they laughed that filled my ears.

Pano na toh? Wala kaming maglalaban sa kanila. Why? Because they are immune to all super powers, basta ability. Kahit na ikaw na may pinaka malakas na kapangyarihan sa mundo, you cant beat them.

I hissed in pain as i looked at my left arm. Shxt.

"Hapunan!" One licked his lips that made me gulp looking away.

Yuck! Sa tiyan nila? No way.

They started running towards us that made me scream.

"YAKKK NOOO!! ANG PAPANGIT!!"

"COME ON!" Cass pulled us out of there , might be using her predictions now.

We ran away from them still screaming the hell out. Sino bang hindi matatakot sa itsura nila? Ang iba nga sa kanila parang mga aso ni scar sa lion king. So nakakadiri.

"NOO WAYY!! I DONT WANNA BE EATEN!"

"SHUT UP!"

Napatikhim naman ako at sumama sa kanilang nag takbo takbo just running away from those creatures that would massacre us to death.

"If we use our powers it would be useless, none of us are onto physical fights lahat ng laban natin kasama ang mga powers natin so the best way for now is running" Cass spoked still running from those scumbags.

When suddenly.

"Why would you run away?" A girl appeared in front of us making us stop. She made her way to our back kung saan nandoon ang mga nakakadiring doughlings.

I gulped. They also stopped looking at the girl infront of us smirking at them. Why is she here? Where did she came from?

"When you could fight"

She suddenly dissapeared in our sight running so fast then attacked the creatures infront of us in her fast pace just using her fist.

Natulala ako just looking at her.

She grabbed one of the creatures arm then pulled it making the creature kneel infront of her. She used that chance to step onto the creatures back then back flipped kicking the creatures faces that made me yell in awe.

"YOWN!! GO WINTER!" I yelled in amusement.

Napakurap naman ako ng makaramdam ng kung anong hapdi sa braso ko. Gosh, How did i got hit by that?

Ng mapatumba nito ang kalahati sa kanila ay tumigil muna siya tsaka nag stretch pa sa harapan nila like a pro. This side of her seems to be unexpected. Pero ano bang frostlyn ang hindi magaling sa bakbakan?

She reached for her bag then pulled out a very odd thing, isa itong rubber band with a small gem. What's that?

She put the gem onto the rubber band then stretched it aiming it to them. Agad naman itong tumama sa espada ng isa at pumunta sa ulo ng isa, tas sa isa, it repeated that way na parang umiikot lang ang gem when suddenly winter added more gems that surely knock them down.

"Are you Guys ok?" She asked running to us. I covered my wound.

Agad ko naman siyang yinakap. She's so amazing.

"Ang angas nun winter! Bat hindi mo sinabi saking magaling ka sa mga ganung laban?"

"You didnt ask" she chuckled.

"Paturo naman Oh"

WINTER

I sat down. After that fight nagutom ako kaya't kumain ako ng linuto ni shashy at Lia. They kept complementing me about what happened but that doesnt matter.

Talagang binubulabog lang ako ng kwintas ko. Why did it do that?

I looked at the barrier then to my necklace. I could really?

I will surely try it some other time. For now i need to know why those doughlings are here, they arent anyone nung dumating kami Cause creatures arent allowed near the border. Is the soul eaters and the doughlings a coincidence? Or is someone trying to hunt me down?
