Chapter 57: A curse for a curse

"Alright, this is second to the last game and i think it'll be exciting."

I looked at the man beside me and saw him fully covering his Face with the black cloth in his hands. Yeah right, lalaki ang kalaban ko at Pinnock ang pangalan. Kinda weird but, i shouldnt underestimate him just by his name. Right?

"Step to the side now players."

I moved 5 feet away from him and he did the same thing.

Napansin kong kakaiba ang kulay ng mga mata nito dahil yun lang naman ang hindi natakpan sa mukha niya. Kulay ginto ito at kumikinang. It's like a hint telling me that he is surely dangerous.

Sa mga nahuling laban, agad na natapos ito kaya nga naiinip na ang mga nanonood sa amin ngayon. Wala ngang umaabot sa 15 minutes eh, will that happen to this battle too?

At nanlumo ng makita si Pinnock na naroon at parang hinahawakan ng string. I looked back on where Pinnock was earlier and he was there.

Dalawang Pinnock ang nandito, and both of them are ready to kill me.

Pinnock the second came to me with fast speed, and the moment he was near me i felt the same sensation on the ground. Kaya't napatalon ako ng wala sa oras at nanlaki ang mga mata ng mabilis na ginamit ni pin ang sandata nito.

I avoided all the attacks that left me on the ground. Napatayo ako at tiningnan muli ang dalawang Pinnock. The second Pinnock dissapeared and this time the real Pinnock stretched his neck.

I couldnt just fight him without analyzing what he could do. I need to see his power for myself. I need to know his weaknesses.

"I'm cursed, you are too. Right?" He smirked slowly walking towards me.

Those glimmer in his eyes are surely captivating, as if it's telling me something. And everytime i look at it felt so wrong.

"What are you talking about?" I asked back looking away from those deadly eyes.

"I was the greatest ninja of my time. Yet due to my desires..the god's cursed me."

I could sense the anger in his voice. Pero ano naman ang kinalaman ng curse ko sa curse nya? Like what the heck, maglalaban kami hindi magkukuwentuhan.

"My cursed... will bring you death."

He suddenly went berserk that made me tighten my grip unto the bow on my hand. Kung kanina dalawa lang sila ngayon naman pitong Pinnock na ang narito. Ni hindi ko nga alam kong sino sa kanila ang totoong Pinnock.
