a/n: this is a timelapse to the girls are about to debut, sm doesnt want to give them a name yet nor tell them what their concept is. although they know their debut song and choreo to it. imagine like 3-4 months have passed.
"ah soyeon can you help me decide what to wear for this meeting?" i yelled across the hall. i hear footsteps coming, and hear 'hana, dont worry you always look good in whatever you wear girl!' the girl lightly slaps my arm as a joke.
"you right tho, nah nah just joking haha" me and soyeon laugh for a bit more then i told her i have to finish getting ready for this big meeting. the girls and i are gonna finally find out who we are. i curled my lashes, straightened my hair and decided on wearing this outfit:

"hana we gotta go or else we're gonna be late!" soyeon yelled at me. i gave myself one last look in the mirror & bolted out the door with the girls.
as we walked to the meeting room, irene quietly said "dang im so nervous. what if they say we're not good enough to debut?" after ruffling her hair out of nervousness.
"don't w-worry, stay positive girls! we worked hard." i say giving everyone a pat on their back. as we arrived in front of the meeting door, we hear some chatter. for some odd reason the room seemed full without us knowing who's inside. as the girls stood looking at the door, i decided to open it.
"we got this girls" i gave one last smile before grabbing the handle and sliding the door open. i bowed quickly without looking at anyone there.
"good morning, im hana". to my surprise, i saw... the staff of sm (lee sooman etc) and nct 127 and nct dream all staring at me. my eyes widened at the sight of 21 boys including a bunch of staff.
"hana, come on in and bring the rest of the girls in too" lee sooman announced. we all then were seated next to nct 127. taeyong sat on my right with his crew and on my left was my girls. taeyong greeted me and the girls before focusing back on to lee sooman.
"i know you all are wondering why you're here. you see, i thought nct could use a change other than the fact you guys a limit-less group. also these four trainees have been working very hard. so i've decided that sm would create a girl unit in nct" mr. sooman announced. gasps. and 'oh my gosh' was all i could hear in the room. some of the guys seemed emotion-less just nodding & the girls and i were nervously looking at one another, knowing what came next. so i decided to speak up to confirm my suspicions. i rose my hand quietly.
"um, mr. sooman. so from my understanding, you're implying we will be the ONLY girl unit of nct?" pointing to the girls and i.
"basically. you'll debut in about a week." lee sooman nonchalantly mentioned with a soft smile.
"oh i see. um thank you? sorry. it's a bit sudden, we honestly don't know how to react, haha." i got up from my chair and bowed.
"no problem, since we got all the informational stuff out of the way, i brought a bunch of food to the nct studio room so you all can bond. hana make sure to help taeyong deal with everyone, even though you're the youngest in the group, i trust your intuition." lee sooman pointed to me and taeyong. i look at taeyong then proceeded to nod. why does he trust me? shouldn't he trust irene? i mean, she;s the oldest. maybe, it's because i replied on behave of all of the girls. don't overthink it.
