third person:

"i could've sworn we did nearly 200 squats earlier." hana forced out as the girls and her was bent over trying to catch their breath from practicing their dance from their debut song five times with no breaks.

"the squats were better than the five rounds of dancing and practicing singing back to back." yeri spoke as she wiped the sweat off her face.

"unni, the blinds on the door is closed right?" hana asked politely after finally getting herself breathing stably again.

"i think so, why?" irene said looking up to see the maknae ready to pull off her loose t shirt.

"it's so damn hot in here." yeri added on as she noticed the maknae suddenly with just her sports bra on.

"i agree." soyeon said doing the same after watching hana change out. soyeon pulled over her gray hoodie to reveal a cropped black tank underneath.

"i don't remember the last time a workout felt so nice though. it's nice to get back in the groove of things again." hana commented as she tiredly sat in the middle of the room pretty exhausted from their long day.

"irene, how do you feel?" soyeon asked noticing how quiet their leader seemed to be. the girls diverted their gazes on their tired leader as she stared down to her shoes.

"i'm okay. i just hope we can make it through this comeback. considering how hard they went for our debut single, they'll probably push us even more to diet, practice, film, and more." irene spoke earnestly as the girls listened.

"it's understandable to feel like that. just know that we're here if you ever need someone to talk to. even the boys as well. we're one big family." yeri replied in response to irene as she gave her leader a sweaty hug as the girls followed along.

"thank gosh we're home." the girls collectively mumbled as they walked into the empty dorm, realizing the boys must have a later ending schedule in comparison to them. the girls put their stuff down in the respective rooms and met in the kitchen remembering what they discussed.

"this would be a good time to cook dinner since we already showered and things." irene announced as the girls nodded along oblivious to their leader's idea.

"how about we do a cooking dinner live?" irene excitedly said as she held her phone in one hand and a tripod in the other.

"yes we should! we haven't spoken to the fans in forever! but no spoilers! it's too early on." hana said knowing she got a lecture from manager-nim privately about saying overly extensive spoilers to the fans. he did tell her that she can still do it, she just has to be more careful with how much info she puts out. hana tried to shake the lecture and manager-nim's warning voice in her head as she waited for a response from the girls.

"facts, sounds good!" soyeon said as she headed in the kitchen while helping irene set up while yeri and hana took out ingredients for dishes they could cook.

"okay, it's starting now." irene said as the phone screen lit: you're live!

"hi everyone! today we'll be cooking dinner. the 127 boys will be coming over to get some dinner, so we'll just show you guys what we're gonna cook." soyeon narrated as they began speaking about what they'll be cooking. irene and soyeon will be making the main dishes while hana and yeri made the dessert which was cookies and plating the food.

"for the cookies, we'll be personally making them into shapes!" yeri said to the camera as hana's eyes widened knowing she was pretty clumsy with cooking, but she could at least do the basics. as for baking, she's only done it a couple times so she hoped she would be able to make them taste edible.

"okay i'll begin adding the dry ingredients while you add all the wet ingredients in another bowl." hana said as she handed yeri a bowl. little did she know the amount of criticism in the comments she got because she was instructing her unni to do something.

"sounds good hana, i'll just go off of the chocolate chip cookie recipe on the note right?" yeri said as she noticed a picture lit on hana's phone with motherly handwriting on it.

"yes, it's my mom's secret recipe for good cookies." hana said with a big smile remembering when she was younger and could devour millions of her mother's cookies in one sitting.

"it must be really good then." yeri replied noticing the maknae smile to herself while mixing the ingredients. yeri quickly glanced at ipad next to her that she used to read comments to see a mixture of both good and comments of people getting mad at hana for being quote-on-quote, 'bossy'. she quickly knew to give the ipad to the other girls or put it away, knowing how much comments affected hana's mentality immensely. she turned off the ipad and set it aside on the couch, hoping it would stop hana from wanting to see what people were saying.

"yeri, i finished mixing, can you take care of combining it? i'll take care of the molding part and we can decorate together? i have to help irene and soyeon unni with the plating since they're halfway through cooking." hana said as yeri gave a small smile acknowledging she could go ahead. as hana went off camera while going back and forth between the kitchen and the dining section of the kitchen grabbing cups, plates, and utensils, yeri quietly worked on the cookies occasionally laughing at the cute arguments irene and soyeon had over the food.

"hana, i'm done mixing! you can go ahead and mold it. i'll begin prepping the oven and pan." yeri said moving aside to go in back of the kitchen pressing buttons and spraying the pan so that the cookies don't stick. as she patiently watched hana grab small pieces of dough and rolling it into a ball as yeri held the pan out. this time, irene and soyeon were taking a break waiting for the food to boil, that they began reading comments. they noticed numerous comments saying how hana seemed to be needy for camera time during the live and how she's bossy towards yeri. the girls knew, hana isn't like that. the actuality is that hana has more experience in cooking than yeri, which is why it's understandable for her to take the lead compared to yeri who barely cooks. soyeon began to quickly report a few comments that she disliked and trying to read aloud the good comments.

"irene unni, your soup is boiling now, be careful it might overflow!" yeri warned as the two girls put the phone down and rushed to finish the cooking. unaware that the screen was now visible for hana to see. as everyone worked on the food, they were unaware to the comments hana had already seen. the criticism and insults that the girls subconsciously tried to hide from their youngest, in hopes of keeping her mindset up. little did they notice, the sudden pain shown through hana's expression as she fought to keep a positive facade to the camera was seen by not just their fans, but some people even closer to them. and they knew, the same feeling hana expressed for nearly a split second before showing a forced smile to the camera for the rest of the live, hoping her overbearing mind could give her a break.

a/n: hii everyone! i hope you're staying safe! i'm possibly thinking of 2-3 chapter uploads per week, but it depends if assignments begin piling up more compared to the past month i've had school. i do have a good amount of drafts ready to go, so let me know your thoughts: more uploads?
