third person:

"oh, i didn't think director-nim gave the whole interview." hana confusingly said noticing the video started with them eating and answering simple questions.

"do you want us to skip ahead?" yeri said grabbing the remote as the everyone watched her about to press the button.

"no, we'll just watch it all the way through." jungwoo said while the boys nodded in agreement. they watched as the girls messily ate and laughing while bringing up their favorite memories. then, the serious section of the video. irene got asked first what she wanted to tell the boys.as the girls rewatched their leader get emotional over thanking a bunch of boys, it made them happy that they could formally thank them.

"i know i barely say this, but we love you so much. thank you again." the tv played as irene finished her statement with tears streaming down her face on the screen.

"damn unni, you ugly cry." soyeon jokingly said to lighten the mood. it left the three other girls laughing nearly crying from hearing soyeon.

"just kidding." soyeon said before things got out of hand. the girls looked at their unni who was glaring at them while taeyong was clinging on to her like a koala. hearing irene acknowledge taeyong for everything, he's done for her made his stomach tingle and his heart rapidly beat. he felt relieved that she knew he was and will always be there for you. and with that we continued watching.

"also, thank you johnny for being such an amazing person. i hope you know that i'm here if you ever need a big hug! you know i give the best hugs! all-in-all, just like irene said, we love you so much. " yeri's speech played through the comfortable silence in the dorm.

"everyone knows i give better hugs than you." hana scoffed at yeri's statement. the boys chuckled at hana's childish actions.

"well, if you didn't only hug mark then maybe people would agree with you. but, look no one has yet." yeri said as she stuck her tongue out and through up a peace sign to hana's direction before shifting her body closer to johnny. hana pouted knowing that it was true. she would hug the boys every so often, but mark was the one who got it the most often, and normally for no entire reason. mark felt his cheeks and heart beat quicker than normal. he felt as if he was hyperaware of all the boys smirking expressions to him.

"anyway, let's continue watching." mark said refusing to look at anyone.

as soyeon started thanking the boys, they soon found themselves pausing after hearing a certain section: "when i debuted and got closer to you all, i've grown to accustom having you all near me. at first, i remember how awkward i was with everyone, especially haechan. but haechan always helped me fit into conversations and now i'm comfortable talking with everyone. i would like to express my thanks to haechan for being so kind and taking the time to take care of me. he helped me sorta fit in when i felt too nervous to jump into conversation, games, and a lot more. " haechan snatched the blanket from soyeon's lap to cover his blushing face.

"aw donghyuckie flustered?" taeil teased as everyone laughed as they watched soyeon's eyes widening realizing maybe haechan was flustered with her compliments. haechan curled into a ball and put his head against soyeon's shoulder bringing the blanket down to show his eyes.

"let's talk later soyeonnie." haechan whispered to her as she stared into his sparkling eyes as he gave her puppy dog expression.

"of course." soyeon replied.

"if you're done with your moment over there, we could finish the video and go sleep. it's pretty late." irene said sarcastically as she watched soyeon drag her arm across her arm signaling she's dead. with that irene had a smile on her face as she pressed play.

"and lastly, mark. thank you for everything. you've been such an important figure in my life. entering the industry immediately made it hard for me to adjust. i missed my parents and friends a lot. and despite, my constant complaining, breakdowns, and so much more, you've stayed by my side. you're there to pick me up when i feel there is no end. i hope you know, that i'll always be here for you. no matter the situation, problem, issue, please do not hesitate to talk to me about it. i wish one day, i'll be able to repay you for everything you've done for me. i hope you know that you're one of the hardest workers i've ever seen and despite your long hours of constant going back and forth between units and superm, i can't fathom how hard that must be. so please. if you're hurting, know that i'm here. as all the girls have said... we love you all." hana's voice broke as she spoke. some of the boys felt tears welling up in their eyes seeing as when hana finished, all the girls were crying messily on the screen. someone specifically found himself, feeling abnormally sad. realizing the girls words was true. he did miss his family. he did sacrifice his youth for this career. he did feel tired physically and emotionally. and yet, no one has ever voiced it out. he realized, the petite girl right next to him saw right through him, and seemed to know him more than he knew himself. mark soon felt tears about to fall down his face as he kept his head down in hopes of stopping it before anyone could see.

"it's 2:00 am, let's head to bed. we all have work tomorrow, don't worry we can talk about stuff later." yuta said as he turned off the tea and began to fold blankets. the girls nodded as mark and hana found themselves refusing to move. hana glanced to her left to see mark figetting with the drawstrings of his hoodie while looking down. hana felt a hand on her head ruffling her hair, she turned the opposite direction of mark to see jaehyun looking down at her.

"you should head to bed. if you go, i'll treat you to a good meal tomorrow" he said quietly waiting for her to get up and follow. jaehyun thought that this will confirm his suspicions that he truly doesn't have a chance. mark sat there acting unaware of the situation. almost as if it was an unspoken battle between jaehyun and mark. and for some reason, mark felt nervous for the response. the tension rised as they both waited for a response, anticipating she would follow them and not the other.
