"ah last song of the album!" yeri said excitedly jumping after dropping her bag on the L shaped couch.

"right? i'm so tired from the back to back recording." soyeon responded after taking a big sip of her coffee.

"it's worth it though, we get to make good music." irene reassured as the girls agreed.

"okay, who's first to record?" taeyong asked sitting in the producer chair while mark sat beside him and the boys sat on the remaining space on the couches.

"can you pull up the instrumental irene?" mark asked as the girls flipped through their packets of lyrics.

"yeah, here." irene said hovering over taeyong as she clicked away with her full attention on the screen, unaware of her position with her body hovering on top of taeyong with their faces extremely close.

"wow irene-unni if you don't mind, we would like to record not watch you and taeyong stare at each other." hana sassily said knowing she loved to tease her unni.

"i wasn't! anyway, hana you're up fir-" irene said as she turned away to grab the door handle for recording room.

"unni, i think you should go first. i don't mind going last. i think i need to practice the most." hana nervously admitted knowing that they decided to all agree on a somewhat of an experimental position switch. the vocalists would take on more rapper lines and vice versa.

"why? is it because of the position change? don't worry! we practiced together and you're overthinking hana. i'll go first then" irene said giving in after giving the youngest a small pat on her back.

"okay, so taeyong do you have our lines pulled up on the computer monitor? it should be on mark's screen." irene said as she got set up and took a sip of coffee.

"okay, so you guys are doing position changes? interesting. i'm sure it'll sound good. irene, i'll play the sample we have here and you'll go after, sounds good?" taeyong said as he put his eyes on the girl giving her a small affirmation by smiling noticing as she fidgeted with the paper.

"okay, sounds good." she said before taking a deep breath and listening to the instrumental and sample voice.

"you did good irene-noona!" haechan said giving her a high five after she got out of the recording booth.

"thank you! i don't take singing lines often, so i was nervous." she said after ruffling his hair and sitting on a high stool in the corner of the room.

"i'm assuming i'm next!" yeri got up and headed in the recording booth.

"i'll do the same procedure as how irene recorded, sample instrumental and voice then you next, sounds good?" taeyong said as he clicked away trying to fix up irene's audio as he spoke.

"okay go ahead." yeri said as she took on a deeper tone in her voice than usual.

"you open and end the song good yeri! i love your tone!" taeil said giving her a thumbs up as she got out.

"right taeil-oppa! i was glad irene and hana let me sing mostly in korean, my pronouniation is not the best in english so hana and irene took care of that." yeri said happily and content with her recording session.

"hana, do you still wanna go last?" soyeon questioned after the room quiet down.

"haha yeah unni if that's okay." hana said as soyeon nodded giving her a small hand squeeze trying to help the girl calm down.
