hana's pov:

ring ring ring. i heard the sound of my phone ringing which actually woke me up. i grabbed my phone drowsily and found mark wasn't with me. i remembered he had early practice today with the 127 boys. i look down to see my phone ringing still. i slid to the right to answer the call without even looking. "hello? whoever you are, aren't you calling me a bit early?" i said sassily because i was still tired from the previous day.

"is that how you're gonna address me?" i heard from the other end. i opened my mouth in shock after realizing it was my manager. i scratched my neck out of awkwardness.

"ah you see manager kim, i'm always grouchy in the morning, sorry." i said with a small laugh escaping my lips at the end.

"why did you call?" i said getting up and getting ready for the day as i talked to my manager on speaker.

"you and the girls have a meeting with mr. sooman after your practice today. you guys are filming your dance practice today. then you guys will wash up a bit and head to the meeting. i can't be there today so irene will make sure you all stay on track. be nice to irene!" the manager rushed through his explanation and ended the call before i could ask any questions. i continued to get ready and change into gray sweatpants and a light pink tank.

after putting spare clothes in my duffle bag, i grabbed my phone and mark's black denim jacket that i had kept since i met him. i loved it because it was comfortable and it came from my best friend, mark. i smiled when i looked down at myself in confidence. i walked to the kitchen hoping to get a snack. i found irene setting up the food, soyeon sitting on the couch while smiling at her phone and yeri trying to learn the choreo for itzy's song wannabe. i laughed when i walked in after seeing how chaotic we were but i loved them. i dropped my bag down and ran by yeri and started doing the choreo with her. then eventually soyeon put her phone down and stood in the center and danced with us. we heard laughing and a camera going off and i looked back to see irene with her phone facing us. i ran to her in embarrassment and ran over to her. "ah did you take a video of us? delete it." i said , demanding her to do so and showed her a pouty face.

"hana i already sent it to the boys, don't worry, mark will still love you." irene said jokingly and discreetly, showing her phone in her back pocket. as a smirk rose on her face with my flustered expression by the mention of mark's name.

"ah stop with these jokes about mark." i said. the girls have been non-stop teasing me about how close i've been with mark. but, he's my best friend.

"girls, i made sandwiches for us. let's head out now." irene said grabbing a lunch bag. i grabbed my belongings, opened the door and let the girls go first. i closed the door and asked irene to lock it. after we headed out to do our dance practice.

three hours later. the girls and i were heading to the sm shower room. we filmed three different versions of our debut song in costumes: school uniform; halloween themed; cute themed. after the shower and the girls were getting changed and ready, we had a conversation. "doesn't this feel oddly similar to the day we found out we were gonna debut?" i said while grabbing my spare clothes out and going to change in the changing room but i could still hear the girls.

"ah you're right hana. feels like deja vu." yeri said.

"why do we have to go to this meeting though?" soyeon questioned. in actuality, no one knew why.

i got out of the changing room wearing this:

"daebak, we look good to be honest." i said while we put our finishing touches.

"let's go, i don't want us to be late." irene said and started packing her things. she waited for us at the door and led us to the meeting room. me and the girls nervously all held hands on our way to the meeting room. when we got there, we saw jaehyun, jungwoo, yuta, doyoung waiting outside. i saw jaehyun and ran to give him a hug. idk if i told the girls but me and jaehyun were also very close. he would always buy me food even if i didn't ask him to and sent me and the girls encouraging messages when we had a long day. he was like a big brother i never had but always wanted.

after releasing from the hug, irene came from behind and said, "why are you guys here? i thought you guys had practice?" the girls and i nodded in agreement.

"ah don't worry about it, we'll take your stuff back to the dorm. you guys have a long day ahead of you." doyoung said as the boys snatched our big duffles that we used for practice and hurriedly brought the boys with him.
