"welcome back to idol radio! we have some very special guest here with us today! for our opening song, we'll be playing beautiful time by nct dream". mari announced through the microphone as she glanced at the girls quietly entering and getting seated. the girls bowed as mari quietly turned the control nob on her radio controls and getting up to give them each a hug.

"irene! i've missed you so much! how have you been?" mari asked as she held irene in a long hug remembering all of their high school memories.

"mari! i've been so good. i'm so proud of you. i love this radio station and to think i'm a guest on my best friend's show is so awesome. you've always talked about wanting this and now you're here." irene said quickly getting out of the hug and squeezing mari's chubby cheeks.

"ah, you still do this? these poor girls have to deal with you? oh my. i'm mari, feel free to speak informally, no worries. irene was my best friend in high school." mari said in a joking manner while hugging each of the girls lightly before signaling for them to sit and get set up. as the girls waited for the song to near the end, they watched as mari effortlessly turned down the music slowly and starting speaking.

"good evening everyone! after our opening song, i would like to now introduce you to our guests! it's nct bg!" she excitedly said as she pointed to the cameras around the room, the girls caught on as they began waving and smiling to the cameras.

a/n: if you guys find a better name for the girl's unit lmk :) the current one kinda sucks rn ngl lol.

"let's introduce ourselves.. hana, duel, set!" irene spoke waiting for the girls to get ready.

"to the world, we're nct bg-nimida!" they said in unison bowing and doing their signature finger right after.

a/n: idk how they greet in korea, but go with the flow :P

"thank you for having us, mari-unnie! it's a dream come true!" yeri nervously said hoping she wouldn't stutter in front of such a big icon.

"aw no thank you! it's such a pleasure to meet such hard-working girls. well, let's do small introductions shall we?" mari suggested as she handed the girls one by one a rough draft of how their interview/radio episode will go.

"hello everyone! my name is irene, i am the leader of nct bg." irene started off giving a silly face right after, trying to loosen the mood in the room. she remembered the girls talking in the car of how nervous they were. they kept talking about how they didn't want to say the wrong things, or make embarrassing mistakes. irene realized she needed to step up and show the girls that it was alright to have fun with these kind of events.

"hi! i'm yeri, and i'm the cutest." yeri commented after showing nearly 10 seconds of aegyo to the camera with no shame. the girls looked away knowing that it was slightly true and giggles filled the room.

"hello, i am soyeon, the coolest out of everyone." soyeon said as she flipped her hair dramatically and winked to the camera. the girls jokingly slapped the girl knowing she really was flirting with the camera and viewers. it was something soyeon was good at, flustering everyone with her undeniable charm, all the girls had that ability. although, in their own special ways which only some people get to see.

"yo everyone, i'm hana. i'm the maknae, but yet the most mature." hana said in a serious tone making all the girls including mari laugh hysterically.

"what? it's true." hana said shocked at all the girls reactions as she pouted not knowing the cameraman zoomed in on her while the other shot the girls nearly crying from joy after hearing her seemingly ridiculous introduction.
