"mark hyung pick up your phone!" jaemin panicked as the dreamies huddled around his phone as they waited for mark to pick up. after a couple more rings, they finally noticed mark answered.

"hello? jaemin why are you calling? i'm in practice for superm"

"hyung!! check the link i sent you! pali pali!"

"okay okay, stop yelling in my ear, i just woke up."

silence filled both lines as they waited for mark to pull up the article that renjun saw the previous night.

"oh shit"

"mark hyung, you need to contact hana now in case she thinks of doing anything."

"okay okay, i'll do it. try to stay calm. don't let it ruin your mood because you know how guilty hana gets if she messes up unintentionally. thank you for telling me. have a good day."

"bye hyung, good luck."

mark scurried to the back of the practice room after asking their choreographer for a quick break. little did he notice how panicked and scared his face was after getting off the call. the rest of the superm boys looked at their youngest with worry in their eyes as the boy's cheerful mood immediately changed after getting off the call with jaemin. mark walked to the back silently before sitting on the couch as he stared at his phone intently unaware of the boys eyes on him.

"mark what are you looking for?" taeyong said quietly before sitting next to mark and his frown was painted on his face.

"hyung, didn't you see the article about hana? they made a rumor about her and felix from stray kids possibly dating?" mark said frantically turning on his phone to show his hyung the article. taeyong quietly read it as he sipped his iced coffee every so often.

"why aren't you panicking? you realize their comeback is soon and this could ruin them, especially hana." mark said shocked and sad at the fact he knew how much taeyong cares and adores the girls, and yet he seemed completely calm.

"mark, regarding this article, i'm not surprised. because dispatch always releasing a false article about groups right before companies announce a groups comeback or debut. but you should probably give hana a call. when we left the girls were still sleeping, i'll notify irene to warn the others, but hana takes things the best from you, so you should tell her about it. i can stall for you. go go." taeyong replied simply knowing that it wasn't new in this industry to be the center of attention for false news. as he gave mark's phone back to him signaling him to call her somewhere private.

"thanks hyung, i'll go an empty practice room real quick." mark mentioned waving bye to mark before slipping out of the practice room.

"where is mark going?" baekhyun concerningly asked taeyong after he came back from talking to mark.

"hyung, he has to take care of some troubles, give him a bit." taeyong responded.

"it's about hana right?" ten asked as everyone looked at him wondering why her name came into the conversation.

"ten and i was up late when we saw the article about her go up." lucas explained.

"hana is the youngest girl in nct's girl unit right?" kai asked to make sure he was thinking of the right person.

"oh what happened?" taemin jumped in.

"some false dating rumors." taeyong mentioned with a hint of sadness for the poor girl.

"ah, mark grows up so fast. look at him setting aside to help his girl." baekhyun teased as the others laughed jokingly knowing that their youngest was whipped for the girl, they were glad there was someone who could help mark through all his work.

"cmon hana pick up please." mark whispered to himself as the other line was ringing.

"h-hello?"

"hana, i know i interrupted your sleep but i have to tell you something. okay?"

"oh okay, what is it? are you okay? do you need anything? i can go buy it for you if you need it."

"no no hana. you know the time we.. went to your therapist?"

"yeah, why?"

"so basically dispatch caught us in the car talking and after you got out of the car to get into the SM building."

"oh that isn't bad right? i mean we're nct, we're under one brand, one group, so it shouldn't be a problem?"

"well, they suspected it was stray kids felix, not me driving the car.."

"oh.. felix? i haven't talked to him since the last time we promoted, and we only text occasionally to check-up on one another."

"you still talk to him?"

"yeah, he was my best friend in high school mark. i told you."

"are you upset?"

"n-no hana. what makes you think that?"

"well you have nothing to worry about so i don't really know what you're fussing over"

"i do have something to worry about."

"you don't, my attention is only on food, music, and you"

"wow since when did hana get so flirty over the phone?"

"well, i just woke up and i would love to go back to sleeping before i have to go to meetings for the rest of the day. could i go to sleep mr. lee?"

"wait, i just want to make sure you're fine though. i mean sooman will probably ask for you to release a statement, so just hang in there okay?"

"do you really think i'll be fine? i mean the girls and i will have a comeba-"

"yes you'll be fine. i'm here. why are you worried?"
