You never know how it feel likes to be in the light when all you've ever seen is the dark, it may terrify you at first, it'll be strikingly bright and you'll want to run away but you're never the same once you've seen it...... When you know what it's like, you can't live without it.

I didn't know what it felt like to be alive until him.

My life was suddenly going very well, all the problems seemed to have disappeared or maybe I simply forgot that they existed and for the first time i felt like i was living not surviving, maybe what they say is true that romantic love is an illusion, it distorts the reality and blinds you....i want this distorted reality. I want to be oblivious to this blindness and live to my fullest.

"I'm so tired today" Emma spoke with a groan stretching her hands over her head.

"By the way, what kind of a person is Arron?" i tried to sound as casual as possible while we were going towards the cafeteria.

In the group i was the closest with Emma, maybe because we're in the same class while the others are seniors and this was my only chance to ask her without the others.

She puckered her lips as she spoke in an unsure tone

"I don't know really... He's always so distant with everyone... I've actually never talked to him even though we've been in a mutual friend circle for years" she spoke as a matter of fact.

"Ah, i see" i spoke to myself softly

"But....he's messed up, from what I've heard... It's better to stay away from him" she said as she turned towards me with a strangely knowing look in her eyes.

'just how messed up can he be'

I couldn't see Arron and the guys anywhere in the cafeteria but figured out it was normal for them to disappear without a trace.

"Aiden isn't here" Flynn spoke looking around the cafeteria as i reminisced her making out with Liam in the class room.

"You and Aiden are dating right?" i spoke with a confused yet knowing voice.

"Duh, they're literally lovebirds" marry answered as Flynn nodded towards me.

The cafeteria door opened as Arron and the boys walked inside, our eyes met for a moment before he looked away.

"Okay girls tonight at....um Emma's home, celebration of Aiden and Flynn's anniversary" Andrew spoke leaning on our table as the rest of the guys stood behind him

"Umm...Excuse me, it's my home. Aren't i supposed to decide?" Emma spoke in a sarcastic tone questioning Andrew with a 'you're unbelievable' face.

"... Oh really?" Andrew replied back with double sarcasm pretending to think if he was supposed to ask or not.

Everyone broke into laughter, the side of Arron's mouth lifting up slightly before his expression returned to normal.

'God, can he seriously laugh for once?'

While i was looking at Arron my eyes fell on Aiden, standing right next to Arron

He was really handsome, you could mistake him for a celebrity... Basically the man every girl wants

He was staring at Flynn lovingly as she smiled back at him.... But her smile, just wasn't the same
