Chapter 48

Goten rushed into the room, with Trunks following behind carrying their little brother. The two boys smiled widely as they headed towards their fathers to see what they had hoped- a baby brother.

Bulma smiled nervously and took a step back allowing the boys to meet their baby sister. She could tell the two were not going to be impressed, well at least one of them.

Goten climbed onto the bed to have a look at his new baby sibling who was cradled in his fathers arms. "Aw he's cute," he cooed, he was pulled back by Trunks who also wanted to look.

"What's his name?" Trunks inquired whilst glancing down at the new born.

Goku tittered nervously and glanced over at Vegeta, who raised a brow at the two cooing at the newborn. They were aware the boys were eager for another brother. And now, they were having to tell the boys that they have a sister instead. Goku sighed and smiled at them, "so uh...this is your sister."

Goten and Trunks both gaped at each other before looking back at Goku in bewilderment. Their brother simply giggled with no care in the world, as he casually climbed onto the bed to sit between his fathers. "What?!" The two shouted in harmony.

Bulma followed Yamcha out the room whilst wishing the couple luck. Oh how they were going to need it.

"Can't you make a trade with someone who has a boy?" Goten questioned and glanced down at his sister who was sucking her thumb.

"I'm afraid it doesn't work like that," Goku smiled at Goten before glancing back at Vegeta. "You ...you want to tell everyone the name now?" He asked avoiding the looks of disapproval from Trunks and Goten.

"You guys just had to make a girl," Trunks huffed crossing his arms.

"They get to decide what they make together?" Goten cocked his head to the side whilst looking down at his baby sister.

Vegeta sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. He shook his head slightly, hearing the two boys go into a discussion about how they believe their fathers decided to make a girl. "No, we do not get to decide the gender of the baby...for the love of- where's your mother?" Vegeta grunted and looked directly at Trunks. His cheeks were glowing crimson, this was not a subject he wished to discuss with his son and Goten. He was tired, and still feeling tender after giving birth. The last thing he wanted was to explain to the children how babies were made. Besides if they found out how their brother and sister were made and brought into the world, they'd probably be mentally scarred for life.

"I can't believe we have a sister," Trunks pouted before glancing over at the newborn who started to stir. Her eyes started to open, slowly her hand reached out as she took a stretch, and made a cute little sound as she yawned. Trunks sighed, "I guess she is cute."

Goku smiled and moved over, allowing the boys to climb onto the bed properly. He waited for them to both sit comfortably before offering them to hold their sister. Their brother leaned over to peep at their new baby sister as she was slowly handed to Trunks and Goten to hold. Seeing the three boys cooing over at their baby sister made him smile more. He glanced over at Vegeta and watched as Vegeta started to rub his eyes, "tired?"

Vegeta scrunched his nose and scoffed, what a question to ask after he had given birth to their daughter. He sighed as Goku smiled at him, he couldn't even be mad at his smile. Instead he simply nodded and rested his head on Goku's shoulder.

Their moment was disturbed by Bulma and Yamcha peeping their head through the door way, "well?- we are waiting..." Bulma raised her brows over at the couple, and smiled slightly as they looked over at her in confusion. "What's her name?"

There was a slight pause as Vegeta leaned over to lift the newborn from Trunks and Goten, he smiled glancing down at her whilst everyone waited patiently for him to say. The room grew quiet, Vegeta cradled her in his arms, and rested his head on Goku's shoulder again, "Eschalot," (there you go you fans/readers, I was nice, he got the name he wanted...in a fanfic 😂😂😂) his smile widened watching as her small hand grasped his finger.

A few hours had passed, Vegeta had slept whilst everyone else helped bathe and change Eschalot. Goku approached the bed whilst guests had started to come over to visit the newest family member. He smiled looking down at Vegeta who was slowly waking up.

Vegeta returned the smile and slowly sat up, the two stared deeply into each other's eyes before pressing their lips together for a passionate kiss.

Unbeknownst to Goku, Vegeta had planned for something after their daughters name reveal.
