Chapter 35: Valentine Double Disaster

To give the perfect back story to know what happened to Zoya and why Riyaz always tries to control her emotions when she cries and what medication she is under and why? The back story is inspired from few movies and shows, mixed with my imaginations. Hope you like this back story.

In the restroom, Zoya looked at her reflection in the mirror. She can see how terrified she looks and she remembered how Arshad plunged on to her when she rejected him. Then, she remember how she taken aback few minutes before when Aditya tried to kiss her.

She felt bad when she remembered the look on Aditya's face after she avoided him. And that frown while he said that he'll get coffee for them. She slapped herself mentally for behaving like that. Just like Arjun warned her, she behaved weirdly with Aditya because of that idiot Arshad.

"Zoya, you have to fight it... You can't hurt Aditya just because of some stupid thing happened in your life... You have to fight it... You have to fight it for Aditya", she said to the mirror and started to splash some cold water in her face.

After few minutes, she came out from restroom wiping her face and Aditya was standing opposite to her and looking at her direction with coffee mugs in his both hands. She looked at him and smiled. He smiled back and gave one mug to her.

She moved to the bed and sat on it. Aditya moved to the other side of the bed and sat on the couch opposite to her. She looked at him, but he was concentrating on drinking his coffee. She thought for second and moved to the couch next to him.

He gave some space and moved to his right. She moved and sat close to him and he moved again and she looked at him. He looked at her. "What?" she asked. "Nothing..." he said. "Then why're you scooting away from me? Are you trying to avoid me?" she asked. "I didn't... You did... So I thought you want some time and space to get back normal", he said casually but she can see the pain in his face.

"Adtiya... I'm sorry... That dream was quite disturbing... I didn't mean to avoid you..." she said and kept her mug on the coffee table. Then she turned towards to him.

She cupped his face and turned him to face her. Then she grabbed her both ears with her both hands and said, "I'm sorry" with puppy face. "I don't want any time or space to be normal... I just want you to hold me and be always there next to me", she said.

Looking at her puppy face, he burst into laugh and moved close to her and filled the gap. She turned to take her coffee and almost fall on his lap while she tried to sit close to him. He caught her and balanced her. "Zoya... When are you going to stop falling out of balance?" he asked with chuckle.

"Never... As long as you there to catch me", she said while winking at him with giggle. He smiled and put his left hand around her and squeezed her hand. She laid her head on his shoulder.

Once they finished the coffee, "I have one surprise for you", he said and got up from the couch. He took out a parcel from the cupboard and hand it over to her.

She opened it to see one more dress. This time it was modern, red gown sleeveless and it looked beautiful even before wearing it. She looked at him and said, "It's so beautiful..."

"It'll be more beautiful when you wear it", he said to her. After a pause, "Meet me at the portico in 20 minutes, wearing this", he said and without waiting for her reply he left the room.

Zoya, wearing that dress, went to the portico to meet Aditya. But, he was nowhere to be seen. She looked around and found a light glowing in middle of the garden. She headed towards the light. As she went near and near, she saw a person standing under that light.
