"Just a talk" ~4

Kaitlynn's POV

Corbyn chuckled at what I said. I looked at him a little confused.

"I guarantee that you can guess mine." Corbyn said. I knew what he was. It was ravenclaw. Corbyn had been my favorite member. I didn't know what it was that drawled me into him. 

"Ravenclaw for corbyn, but I mean it isn't that obvious. Daniel I think that you are a Gryffindor or maybe a hufflepuff. I am not sure. Jack and zach. You too are in the same house. I believe. Slytherin, right." I said. I pointed at that person as I said their name. 

"Yeah I knew mine was pretty obvious." Corbyn laughed. 

"I am a hufflepuff." Daniel replied. 

"Slytherin." Jack added he smiled.

"Wow, you are good at this." Zach said, rubbing his head. "I am a slytherin." 

"She is really good. That is why everyone goes to you for advice. You always look at it in a Hogwarts way." Cailin said. Sitting back on the swing. 

"What's your house?" He asked cailin. 

"Ravenclaw." She replied with just one word. 

"Cool." Jack said smiley. 

"Hey, how old are you guys?" Corbyn asked, looking at me. I wanted to hug him again but I didn't. 

"We are 16." I said. "Well cailin is still 15."

"Wow, you look way younger." Zach said looking at us.

"It's in my blood to look younger. My aunt still gets carded. She is in her 30's." I said laughing. It really was in my blood. She got carded all the time.

"Really. Hold old does she look." Jonah asked, amazed. 

"A lot of people say she looks 18." I said.

Corbyn went to stand next to me. I noticed that he was comparing our height. I was very short. Shortness ran in my family too. No one, even the males, were taller than any of the boys. 

"You are really short." Corbyn said standing next to me. 

"SHUT UP ABOUT HEIGHT!" I yelled. I hated being called short. My face scrunched up. I was holding my breath. It looked like I was under water. 

"She hates being called short. She says that it's because of her family." Cailin laughed. 

"That's because it is! The tallest person that I am blood related to is shorter than all of them!" I was frustrated. 

"Really?" Zach asked me.

"Yes now can we talk about something else." I said. I felt a vibration in my pocket. It was my phone. I pulled out my phone and it was my dad. "Oh shit.... I need to take this." 

Cailin continued talking to the boys as I walked away to answer the phone. 

"Hey..."
"You need to be home in 20 minutes."
"Okay dad. I love you. I will be home in 20. 
"Love you." 

I walked back to the Cailin and wdw. They had been talking.

"Who was that?" Corbyn asked me. He was getting a little protective of me. He made fist with his hands.

"It was just my dad. I need to go home soon." I replied. Corbyn went back to normal. 

"Can we take you?" Corbyn asked. 

"No... but if you guys have bikes we can ride together." I said, seeing that Corbyn wanted to talk a little longer. 

"I don't think we have any." Corbyn replied upset. 

"I guess you can walk while I bike." I said. I hated seeing people upset.

"Really?" Corbyn asked happily.
