"A walk home" ~5

Cailin POV

I looked at Kaitlynn. I didn't think that she would ever say that. I get that he is her celebrity crush and all. But still. I did not expect that to come out of her mouth. 

"Yeah I don't see why not." She smiled. Corbyn smiled back. "I don't live that far. It's only 5 minutes on my bike so it should take around 10 minutes walking." 

"Common Whittles, let's go grab our bikes from the tree." I was shocked. I walked over to the tree. I grabbed my bike and got on. Kaitlynn followed me. She got on her bike that she had for 10 years. She had spray painted it black. It was originally pink. She hated it. She got on her bike. 

"Come on guys, I don't have all day." She said looking at them. They stood for a second and then walked closer to us. 

TIME SKIP!

Kaitlynn POV

We were a street away from Cailin's house. She lived on the way to my house.

"Cailin, why don't you go home. I don't want you to have to go back. They can go with you too. I can go by myself." I said smiling. I didn't care to go home alone. I did it often. Nature calmed me down so I went out often.

"I will go. But I don't want you to go alone. Why don't the boys go with you." She said about stopping her bike at the corner.

"It's fine,'' I said. They can go with you. You know I go home by myself often." I said stopping at the corner. 

The boys were right behind us. I started arguing with Cailin. The boys looked at us weird. It's like they never saw a girl argue before. This was normal for me and Cailin. She often did things that I got frustrated with. But that is why she is one of my closest friends. 

"I have an idea. Why don't we split up. A few go with you, Kaitlynn, the rest go with Cailin." Corbyn said, interrupting my sentence. 

"I am fine with that if you are." I said. I looked at the boys and then Cailin. She agreed. 

"Alright who is going to come with me?" I turned and asked the boys, completely ignoring the fact that we were just arguing.
