"Karma! I got a 93 on my math quiz!" I skipped happily to the clearing in the forest where Karma and I were meeting for our tutor session. He just stood in the clearing with his phone in his hand. "What's wrong?"

"Why don't you tell me." He glared at me and showed me his phone. On his screen was a picture of me during one of my last concerts before Aguri's death. I stared at it in disbelief. I should have known that he would be the first one to figure it all out. "So, why don't you tell me what's wrong, (R/N)?"

"That's, um..." I was at a complete loss for words as he made his way over to me.

"Did you just come here to laugh at us behind our backs?" He grumbled. "Did you come here to rub in our faces that you might actually have a future?!"

"No, of course not! I just-"

"You just what?" He grabbed my upper arms and pushed my back against a tree. "Did you think that by killing the octopus you'd gain even more fame? Is that what you wanted?"

"No, that's not why I'm here-!"

"Then why are you here?!" He grumbled, leaning his face closer to mine.

"That's none of your business!" I tried to push his hands off me but he was too strong.

"Why are you and Akari here?!" He questioned again.

"That's not your-!"

"WHY?!"

"BECAUSE HE KILLED OUR SISTER!" Karma looked at me in shock and confusion as he slowly let me go. I slid down the tree and started crying, hard. Sure, I cried when Aguri actually died, and at her funeral, but I was so obsessed with revenge that I ignored some of my feelings.

I covered my mouth as I let out my sobs. "Hey, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have been so harsh." Karma tried to console me softly and wrapped his arms around me.

I cried and cried until I felt drained. I laid my head on Karma's shoulder and tried to catch my breath. "Do you wanna tell me about it?" He asked. I slowly nodded and sat up.

"Our older sister, Aguri, worked at the laboratory where they created Koro-sensei or whatever..." I started. "When he blew up the moon, he also blew up the laboratory... and so our sister died."

"I'm really sorry." Karma frowned. "But take it from me, revenge will get you nowhere. Even if you do kill Koro-sensei, you'll still be bitter and angry. Nothing will change. Is that really what you want?"

"No..." I shook my head.

"And I don't mean to upset you, but do you really think Koro-sensei would murder someone purposely like that?" Karma asked.

"Of course! Akari and I-"

"Forget about Akari." Karma said. "What about you?" I went silent as his words sunk in. Even if we've only been in school a little while, I can tell that Koro-sensei would never just kill someone in cold blood like that. There has to be more to the story...

"No." I answered. "It had to have been an accident."

"I think so, too." Karma nodded. "Do you want to go talk to Koro-sensei?"

"No, not yet." I said.

"Well I think you should at least talk to Akari." He said.

"I want to, but she's a bit more stubborn than I am." I said. "It won't be easy to convince her, and she definitely won't be happy that you know about who we really are."

"Then just don't tell her about me." Karma smirked.

"Are you going to tell anyone?" I asked, worriedly.

"Not if you don't want me to." He said sincerely. "I promise."

"Thank you." I smiled. "Not only for that, but for helping me see the truth about Koro-sensei. I'll try my best with Akari."

"That's great." Karma smiled and helped me up off the ground. He gave me a hug and I gladly returned it. After all, he had probably just saved me from a life of bitterness and anger.

I hummed in satisfaction as my heart dropped in my chest. Those feelings I felt after our last tutoring session, I know what they are now. I... I like Karma.

"You're wrong." Akari shook her head as we talked later that night.

"But just think about it-" I tried to convince her.

"I already have." She cut me off. "A million times. That monster is nothing but a cold-hearted murderer. Have you already forgotten about Aguri?"

"No, of course not! I just want to see you happy again." I tried to hold her hand but she jerked away from me.

"The only way I'll be happy again is if we kill that thing." She grumbled. "And if you won't do it, I will." She then hopped off my bed and walked out of our bedroom, slamming the door.
