(Rin pov)

"M-Mom..."  I stared at the ghost-like figure that looked so much like Yukio. "Hehe, you guessed right, I was afraid you'd be like your father and have no clue who I was." She said with a goofy smile and rubbing the back of her head with her hand. I shook until I looked down and felt tears roll down my face. "R-Rin?" I heard her ask worriedly. She came down to me and put her hands on my face. "It's okay." She reassured me and I stared at her until I hugged her. "I've always wanted to meet you..." I sobbed into her. "Shhh, it's okay. I'm here." She stroked my hair as I sobbed. We stayed like that for a few minutes before I pulled back. "OMG, THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO ASK YOU!" I sprouted enthusiastically, I moved my arms to make me seem more enthusiastic. She laughed at my enthusiasm and sat down. "Well, ask ahead." She told me I instantly started. "How did you and dad meet?! Did you know my adoptive dad, Shiro? If you knew Shiro what was he like before I was born?" I was so excited and happy that I had just met my mum and I kept asking questions. "Hahaha, you definitely take after me." She told me I froze at here statement and looked at her. "How so?" I asked genuinely curious. "Well, you very curious and want things to be done your way, you like doing things your own way as I can tell, I don't know much of your personality but from what your father told me years ago was that you were stubborn, energetic but you have your fathers strength and anger." I took in all that I was told.

"Hey, mom?" I leaned over and she did the same. "Was father always like he is now?" I asked and pulled away. She thought for a moment before telling me. "Yes and no. He was kind and caring of his sons but he knew that all his sons could protect themselves so he never was overprotective of them like he is with you. I guess it's because since I was taken from him your the only thing left of me to him and so he has the instinct to protect you at all times even if it's being overprotective." She explains and I nod looking away and looking at the garden. I stood up and walked around and looked at all the beautiful plants and littles demons that walked and crawled around the garden. "I've never seen such beautiful demons, not that all demons aren't beautiful they are but these..." I didn't finish my sentence as a firefly like-demon came and landed on my finger and stayed there for a moment before flying away again. "These are Azazel's kin since he is the Demon King of spirits hi kin rest here as this is a place where the dead can be seen and talked to. It's very sacred." She explains and nods. "I like the fashion choice, I think you get it from me, your fathers choice is awful." I snickered. "Shhh don't tell him I said that." I laughed, "haha I won't. It's our little secret." I tell her. For once I felt happy, I finally knew my family and I was with them. I knew my father. I know ew all my brothers. And now I finally knew my mother. "Thank you," I say looking at the sky. "What?" She asks confused. "Thank you," I tell her again. "Why are you thanking me?" She asks. "Because you've given me the chance to meet you and that is something I will never find something great enough to repay you with," I explain, and she is shocked. "Seeing you is enough." She says and I turn to her and I give her a goofy smile and she gives one back. "Also, DID YOU HAVE TO GIVE ME YOUR SHORTNESS!" I yell and she laughs.

Outside the room

"I'm glad he's happy..."

(Third person view)

Rin comes through the doors with a smile on his face. "I take it your happy?" Satan asks and Rin continues to look at the ground before running to his father and hugging to him. "Thank you," Rin says in his father's chest. "You're welcome Rin." He says back and hugs him. They stayed like that for a few minutes before splitting apart and then walking to have dinner. Rin stared at his father while they walked. "What?" Satan asked. Rin hummed in curiosity before turning away and shrugging. Satan was confused by his son's actions. Had Yuri told him something. Rin looked at him once more. "You really do have a bad fashion choice. "WHAT?!" Rin remembered how Yuri told him that Satan would get angry if he heard that. "Nothing." Rin skipped along. Satan calmed down and shook his head. 'Really Yuri, you told him that? The one thing you knew would get me riled up and make me do anything just for the comment to be taken back.'

They sat down for dinner and things went back to the normal well at least until after dinner when Satan pulled Rin to his office to have a short chat.

"What is it, dad?" Rin asked. "Don't be mad but when we fought the exorcists I took one captive." Rin was shocked. "Putting them in the dungeon is worse than killing them!" Rin shouted shocked and angry. "I did it because I wanted them to understand you didn't want to come back meaning you would most likely need to talk to them." Rin could tell his father was leading up to something. "Who is it?" Rin asked a little scared to know. Satan took a breath as he knew what he was about to say could cause Rin to be mad at him, extremely mad. "Yukio."
