chapter eleven : is Easdale okay?

" Hero Kat made yet another attack. Apparently Tsuki AND Taiyo members have been trying to kidnap her after her first attack. Just this attempt she snapped. We did actually get a message from Hero Kat herself. " The news anchor spoke.

Then the TV switched to a video of someone with a microphone behind a camera, and calling for Kat and Kat walks on the sidewalk in front of them. Kat had blood on her face and knuckles.

" Hero Kat! Why are you placing these attacks on Tsuki-? " The person behind the camera asked. Kat walked up and grabbed the microphone and looked into the camera.

" If you guys wanna actually kidnap me you should actually try. You're all pathetic. " Kat dropped the microphone and walked away. She smiled when talking into the microphone, but besides that she looked very angry.

The TV switched back to the news anchor.

" She seemed very angry so if any of you get in contact with Hero Kat, you might want to be careful. " The news anchor nodded. Then Takahashi paused the TV. Everyone was silent.

" Thoughts-? " Takahashi broke the silence.

" How. " Luke spoke.

" She's so freaking powerful how are we going to get her!? " Hestia complained. She had her arms crossed.

It wasn't till now I noticed Easdale was looking down the group. She looked uncomfortable. Like she wished this conversation was over.

" Hey Easdale, you okay-? " I asked her, still in my seat. She looked up at me when I said her name.

" Uhm, yes. I'm fine. " Easdale nodded. I could tell she was lying.

" Wrong. You're not. " A girl in our class spoke, her name is Esther Martinez. She had the power to tell if someone is lying or not. She looked at Easdale.

" E-Excuse me? " Easdale looked at the Martinez. Everyone was looking at Easdale at this point.

" You're lying. I can sense it. " Martinez continued. " Why are you lying. " 

" I-I'm not! " Easdale looked worried. She wasn't a good liar.

" I don't understand Easdale, If the subject of Kat makes you uncomfortable you could just say so. " I answered.

" Yes! Yes that's it. I feel uncomfortable because she's hurting Tsuki members. She could start going after Taiyo. " Easdale looked at me. It still felt like she was lying.

" Even the people who don't have my power can tell you're lying Easdale. Whats wrong? For real this time. " Esther spoke.

" I-... " Easdale gulped. She looked around and then started to breathe heavy like she just ran 200 miles.

" Hey guys, lets get back to our thoughts on Kat. " Takahashi spoke almost as soon as he noticed Easdale was breathing like that. " Easdale you can wait outside the bus. "

Easdale nodded and waited outside the bus. I think I caused something.

" You think Hero Kat is angry due to us trying to kidnap her so many times-? Because I think Tsuki is also trying to get her so they can hurt her for what she did. " Luke looked over our seat.

" That's most likely what shes angry about. " Takahashi answered.

" How are we going to get her if she probably wants to kill us. We can't tell what her power is. " I added.

We just assumed she had something very rare, but less rare then being a Blue Streak. Having more then one power. Which was usually just two. We've never seen anyone with more then two before. But it seems like she has way more.

" Everyone you can just talk about whatever. I tend to not care. I have to do talk with Easdale. "  Takahashi pointed finger guns to point at us. " Ew why did I do that. " 

Then Takahashi walked out of the bus to talk to Easdale. 

" Carter, Luke. " Hestia spoke. Sitting up in her spot. We both looked at her. " Look I'm Takahashi. "

Then she put up finger guns. We had a chuckle because it was funny. Then we really just had a normal conversation. I still wanted to know what was up with Easdale. Martinez called her out for lying. What could be making her feel down-?

After a bit of us just talking, the topic of Kat came up again.

" So guys, what do you think Kat's ability is? " Luke asked. He was sitting on the floor of the bus in between our seat and the one in front of us.

" I think she has all of them. What if shes a goddess. " Hestia chuckled.

" Don't you have the first name of a Greek goddess? " I asked.

" Shh no one had to know that. " Hestia smiled.

Not a lot anymore, but a while ago we'd bow in front of her and pretend she was a goddess. Especially at BBQ's. Greek Goddess of the hearth, aka Hestia. Home and family too. But hearth as in fire. So whenever we're at a party and there's a fire to roast hot dogs or marshmallows we'll bow to the Hestia we go to school with. And tell her we're thankful for this flame. She'd usually kick us both in the head. But it was worth to get a laugh or two.

" I think she can steal other peoples abilities. Like Carter and Rezneck couldn't use their abilities to fight Kat back and she used the same abilities you guys have. Same goes for me when I was on the battle field with her. " Luke explained.

" That's too powerful of an ability. I'd just say she has several. " Hestia answered back.

" True. " I agreed.

" I bet I'm right. " Luke laughed, he leaned back to the wall of the bus and went on his phone.

Takahashi and Easdale came in. Easdale sat back in her spot and just looked to the ground. Her hair covering her face. Hestia looked over at Easdale well everyone else was looking at Takahashi.

" Alright everyone. Easdale is okay. She was feeling uncomfortable but she can not tell us why. If anyone tries getting it out of her you will have detention for three months. You'll have to help the janitor clean the bathrooms. " Takahashi stood at the front of the bus talking to us. He seemed pretty serious. He's protective over Easdale. She's pretty much his daughter anyways.

Everyone nodded. No one wanted to mess with Takahashi's words. Even though he's a chill teacher and pretty laid-back. When he's actually angry he's really scary. Like scarier then anything ever. Most scariest thing is the world prize goes to angry Takahashi.
