chapter twenty-one : tsuki livers

Vanille let out a long sigh.

" We'll see. " Vanille walked back into the house.

" Wasn't expecting that. " Takahashi looked at Vanille as she walked into the house. He was still holding the bloody note.

" What do you mean? " I looked at Takahashi.

" She seems hesitant to answer us. Like she wants to join Taiyo but somethings holding her back. " Takahashi explained.

" Eh. " I shrugged. " lets go back inside. "

I walked toward the door. Takahashi followed. To be honest, I was expecting Vanille to say yes to being a part of Taiyo. Vanille seemed comfortable with us. And almost like she actually likes us. 

Takahashi put a paper towel on the kitchen counter and place the note on the towel. It already soaked through the paper towel, but he has a black marble counter so I don't think it matters.

" Hills can you go get Emily, Hamilton, and your mother? " Takahashi asked me, he grabbed a glass case from under the counter and put it over the note to protect it from damage.

" Got it. " I walked to the room my mother was in first. She was still asleep. So was Basil.  

I walked toward my mother and put my hand on her shoulder.

" Hey mom, wake up. " I smiled. My mom slowly opened her eyes.

" Honey its 6 am, what do you need? " My mother asked.

" Wolfe, or Hero Death Sphere kidnapped Luke. " I explained.

" Oh no! " My mother sat up, she grabbed Basil.

" Just come out to the kitchen. Takahashi wanted me to get everyone. " I nodded.

" Alright. " My mom nodded back, she walked toward the kitchen. I walked to Easdale's room.

Before I opened the door I made sure to cover my eyes. I opened the door with my other hand over my eyes.

" Takahashi wants you guys in the kitchen. " I spoke. My hand still over my eyes.

" Why are you covering your eyes-? " Easdale groaned. I could tell she was just getting up.

" You two are alone in a room with the door closed. I'm not risking nothing. " I explained.

" Oh shut up. " Hestia spoke. " Take your hand off your face. " 

I took my hand off my face. Easdale was sitting up in her bed. Her hair was very messy. Hesita was sitting at the foot of the bed on her phone. Her hair also messy.

" Takahashi wants you guys in the kitchen. " I explained.

" Why. " Hestia looked at me.

" Luke went missing. " I answered.

" WHAT. " Hestia's expression went from 'im tired' to 'what the hell' in a second.

" Wolfe kidnapped him, and most likely hurt him too. Blood everywhere. " I sighed.

Hestia stood up, she dragged Easdale out of bed and stomped out of their room. I followed. All of us stood at the counter where the note was.

" We just got done with getting Kat, why this now. " Hestia groaned.

" Because Tsuki doesn't like we got their power source. Even though Hero Kat hasn't even decided if she wants to join Taiyo yet. " Takahashi answered.

" I really don't want to go to Tsuki. That place scares me and they will literally attack any Taiyo who enters unless its someone who lives in Tsuki who went into Taiyo. " Easdale spoke.

Hestia gulped.

" Well wouldn't Amelia let us in anyways? We're here to get Luke. " Vanille spoke.

" I don't think you wanna go back to Tsuki after you killed a lot of their members, and hurt many others. You obviously don't like them. " I chuckled.

" They're controlling and insane bastards. " Vanille rolled her eyes.

" Not every Tsuki member is crazy. Before it was just whoever on whichever side. But slowly the less crazy people slipped into Taiyo. The energy in Tsuki is just take it or leave it. They don't have a lot of rules. " Hestia explained.

" Right, you live there don't you? " Easdale looked as Hestia.

" Sadly. " Hestia looked to the ground. She didn't seem happy that she lived down in Tsuki. She never did.

My mom was silent. I could tell she was very uncomfortable.

" So, we know we have to get Luke soon. Or else they might do something to him. More than, they already seemed to have done. " I looked at the note in disgust. It was soaked in blood, so were the clouds when we were up there. I really hope they didn't hurt Luke too badly..

" I don't like this. " Hesita sighed.

" None of us do. " I looked back at Hesita.

" I was about to say 'why Luke though', and than I remembered he's our best friend and Hero Death Sphere knows we'll come after her if she captured Luke. " Hestia continued.

" But she can't get Vanille back. If she tries, Vanille will probably just kill half their population again. " I answered.

" Agreed. " Vanille added.

" You guys are getting somewhere. " Takahashi crossed his arms.

We all looked at Takahashi.

" Are you suggesting we're coming up with a plan right now? " Vanille asked.

" Well we need one don't we? If we'd like to save Howler we need a plan so they don't take Hero Kat as well. " Takahashi explained.

" You guys can just call me by my name. First or last. " Vanille added.

" Which is? " Takahashi asked.

" Vanille Ito. " Vanille sighed. (Ito pronunciation : ee-toe )

" Alright. We know for sure Ito doesn't want to go back into Tsuki. She could kill them all if she really wanted to. But there's a really good chance we could lose here. We need to find out how we could win. " Takahashi explained.

Takahashi gestured toward Vanille and Hestia.

" And I think we have two great helpers when it comes to figuring out the other side. " Takahashi looked at Vanille and Hestia.

" Woah there buddy, I only lived there for a few months. " Vanille spoke.

" Yet you never got attacked or looked at weird. Not even because people were scared of the fact you're a blue streak. You hid that until you were forced not to. " Takahashi explained. He turned to Hestia. " And you enter and exit Taiyo every single day. You're never attacked by Tsuki members. " 

Hestia took a deep breath, than looked at Vanille. 

" I think this is a plan for us to host. " Hestia smirked.
