I laid on my bedroom floor as I looked at the ceiling in a daze and reached up to feel my hair. "Ughh" I groaned. I had three bottles of ale and I'm still willing to drink another bottle but It's too far from my reach and I don't feel like getting up. I still attempted to reach for it anyway, trying to somehow make it float down to me without me having to get up.
I was about to give up when the bottle starting drifting in the air a little. "Huh?" I lifted up my head to see a good view from where my dresser is. Am I really drunk? Or am I crazy? I mean I have been having lucid dreams about people dying or screaming out for help recently but they're just dreams. I must be going crazy even when I'm not drunk. Then the bottle started floating up in the air more and coming down to me and landed right beside me. I sat up as much as possible and stared at the bottle, touching it to see if it's real.
It is real. But how? Did I do that? That's impossible. I wasn't born with magic and there were numeral times I've done something like this when I was younger but never has this happened before so why is it happening now of all times?
Whatever. More ale for me. All by my lonely self.
.
"Uh, what is all this stuff?" Asked Michael as his eyes scanned all over the papers scattered around the floor and on the desk.
I looked away from the book I was holding for a brief moment and saw Michael. "Research."
"Research? For what and why?"
I sighed and shook my head, setting down the book on the desk. "You wouldn't understand. You'd think I'm crazy"
"You think?" He gave me a look.
"Besides that. I've been looking more into the missing prince of Endor."
"You mean Calum? They found him, what more do you want." He sat in the chair by the desk and I leaned against the wall with my arms crossed.
"See? You think I'm crazy. I wouldn't blame you though. Everything seems...off. I might've stolen journal notes from the queen of Endor and before you call me out, everything she described of the missing prince, is not Calum."
Michael frowned. "Calum isn't a prince? Then who is he."
I shrugged and picked up the book I set down on the desk. I flipped to a certain page and showed Michael as I pointed at it. "Has blue eyes, she described when he was a baby. Calum has brown-hazel eyes, not blue eyes." Michael looked down at his lap. "Well, who cares. The missing prince is still missing. Calum's a replacement and he's a good person so who honestly cares."
"The missing prince isn't missing. He's just out in the world probably not knowing he has royal blood. I can feel he's still alive."
"How can you just feel someone's alive. Why are you so interested in this topic all a sudden?"
"You ask a lot of questions but I'm glad you asked. I've always been interested in this topic for the longest time but whoever I told never believed me and I can feel he's alive because I think I have some kind of – magic powers."
He got up from the chair with a hand to his forehead. "Woah, wait. You think you have magic? Since when?"
"Yesterday. I'm not sure if it was real, I was drunk-" Michael interupped me.
"Ohh. You were drunk. I thought you were being real for a second." He sank down to the chair behind him.
"No!" I walk in front of Michael and looked at him with a serious face. "No. It was real. I might've been drunk but it was one-hundred percent real and you gotta believe me."
