"A year ago when Calum and I used to be actual friends," I said as I grabbed a pile of random notes written by the Queen of Endor and started to skim through it while Michael slowly started picking up a piece of paper, not reading what the words say and looked over me over his shoulder.

"I know that but how."

"I was eighteen years old and I had a suspicion. Calum was the nicest guy I've met, besides you of course, and his 'parents' always gave him glares when he wasn't looking and rude comments that Calum never noticed - I did. They always showed how much they love Calum while they're the ones talking behind his back. I mean I can sorta relate when my father never agrees with some things that I say but he's never done what they do."

I thought for a moment then put down a different notebook; journal and quickly headed over to Michael saying, "Isn't that strange?" He looked at me for a moment and looked at the ground. "If what you're saying is based on true evidence, I'll believe you. - I just don't think I can do that to Calum though. Going off and telling everyone Calum is not a prince. He's truly a kind soul and I'd want him as a king, since we're already on good terms, no need to have a war against each other."

I stepped back and hummed. "I see what you're getting at but you have to let go. He does not contain the royal blood-" I stopped Michael before he was able to cut me off. "And before you go on saying how you don't care. I hear you, he is a nice human being, I can see that and I'm sorry to say - he's not the real one. I don't know who he is or where he came from. All I know is that the real prince is out there. So, please Michael will you be able to help me out on this investigation?"

He took a step away from me and turned away. I heard him sigh as he turned back around and nodded. "Yes. I'll help you out. I wasn't in this whole plan so I'll blame it on you if we ever get in trouble."

I laughed a bit. "Good. You know, if I were being honest. I swear that the Queen had an older diary of some sort and had it since she was a teenager. I need you to get it."

"You want me to do what now?"

"It's important. I know it is. It has the real name of the prince's name. It's the key to everything. You and Calum are close friends so it's perfect for you to go in and grab it for me"."

"And if you're wrong?"

"When am I ever wrong."

.

"Get out."

Luke frowned and tried to reach for me but I took a step back and didn't look him in the eye. Luke telling me his biggest secret was a total shock to me, I hadn't had time to process. All I felt was anger and betrayed. We were in the secret garden where we got to know each other more for the first time in months and about three years later something had happened and after he told me, all the feelings and emotions made me feel hurt. Luke had been alive for about seventeen years and he had told me just now of all the years we've known each other, his secret and his real life. He stole a ring my sister had given to me a long time ago. I don't think he knows that but that ring is everything. She gave it to me before her death took place from thieves. It used to be worn around my neck as a necklace with a silver thin chain that looped right through. I stopped wearing it when Luke came along. It always was on top of the bedside table by my bed where I would be able to wake up to see it every morning and now I won't be able too. That ring costs more than any human being's life. Now it's gone.

"Ashton... You trusted me with everything so why can't I trust you with everything?" Luke had said as his eyes glistened in the sunlight.

"That's different. You know what a thief is to this family yet you had the audacity to tell me this and to be one yourself. I can't believe you." There's no way I could look at him now. Everything I felt for him, was gone. It vanished and those feelings won't be coming back for a while.
