"Are you and Luke close? Every time you two see each other, you run away." Michael asked me. We were just on our way to find someone who is very important to our plan on our investigation to find out who the real missing prince was because It's clear that Calum is not who we all thought he was.
Either he knows it or not.
"Used to know him. It's complicated." I said back looking ahead of where we were currently walking.
Both Michael and I are in disguises like last time that happened a few weeks ago. It's childish but it works.
"'It's complicated'. Is it though...?" He mocked me.
If he weren't royalty, I would have yelled at him for that comment.
"It is. I can't explain." I sigh. "Let's not talk about this now. Why are you thinking about this right now?" He could have asked me about this nights ago when I decided to go home. Well, I guess I still wouldn't have talked to him about it or now, even.
"Last time and the first time I saw him, He wanted to talk to you but you wouldn't let him. You talked about him before and now I'm wondering why. Do you hate him?" He eyed me suspiciously.
"What? No!" I quickly said out loud. Few people looked at us strangely and I saw them looking so I lowered my head. "I - I don't know... Both of us just messed up real bad and now we can't fix it." I lowered my voice.
"Orrr maybe you can. I know how." He nudged me causing me to sway a little to the side.
"Which is?" I balanced myself back to his head and ignored what he'd done.
"Let him talk to you instead of ignoring him."
I thought about it for a solid five seconds and then said."I don't think so. That's never gonna happen."
"How do you know?"
"Because I just do. Can we stop talking about this now? It's not important right now."
Michael sighed and continued to push on. "Friendships can always be fixed."
"This one can't. Do you have your weapon on you?" It was clear that I didn't want to talk about this any longer. I changed the subject which ended up working. Michael started to rant to me about the weapons he uses when he has the chance to.
"You're serious, right? It's on my back. How have you not noticed?" He stopped walking so I stopped walking. Michael gave me a look, the look he always gives me when I said something wrong or stupid. I hate it when he does that most of the time.
I looked to see a golden looking handle sticking out from behind his back that was almost as tall as him. "A glass war axe?"
It was rare to have one of those and to find those. I think you find those in caves where a bunch of old broken droids lay around, protecting whatever was there. I wonder where Michael got it. Maybe he did go into those caves, doesn't impress me enough unless you've encountered a dragon. That is beyond crazy to me.
"Have you brought anything else that is capable of fast speed?" Oh yeah, by the way, axes are not swift enough when you swing at an enemy. Especially heavy weapons, everyone knows that.
