31 - this is a mess

To lay in a pool of water.

That scolds my skin
And cleanses my sins
Oh how lovely it would be
To finally be set free
From this hell that is the earth
The planet where I have no worth
To watch the fire become nothing but black
Wading in the water with an arrow in my back
Clear becomes a scarlet hue

As I imagine a world without me.

The lights are beginning to dim
Above the water that I am in
The sounds of happier people echo
As I don't even try to swim.

The bubbles can hold me now
As my lungs collapse into the sound
Of thrashing anger and feelings
The last bubble, as I reach the ground
The bottom of the water
Where I'm not somebody's daughter
Where I'm no longer a speaker of misspoken words
Where let ocean blue fill my lungs
