Sinking into the ocean
Memories bubble and pop
Surrounding my mind with the forgotten
Jaws of my mind sinking into my flesh
Tearing at the perfectly healed scars
Piranhas and eels
Electrifying every artery, every vein
A poison almost worse than fatality
An ocean almost worse than oil spillsAnd I scream under the surface
Of ocean blue and cigarette smoke
Exhaling, pleading to not hit the bottomAnd I sink
