A boy whose heart is filled with pain
His words; they crumble within his brain
Syllables jagged like a rusty jigsaw
They point and they laugh; as his words w-withdraw
A younger brother p-p-pulling the ropes
Halting his w-words; destroying his h-h-hopes
Breaking, chopping up h-h-his voice
S-s-suffering as IT will rejoice
A man whose mind commits suicide
Stuttering memories shoved deep inside
A brother; assumed to be a fever dream
A forgotten monster, the forgotten screams
As if a new life sprouted from within
Yet he knows, he knows everything
Memories sink in like razor claws
A childhood, frozen, has now thawed
And the w-words he had known very w-w-well
Begin to ch-chop; his throat will s-s-swell
Stuttering Bill will make his r-r-return
T-to the bloody sewers of D-derry
Whose memories b-belong in a c-c-cemetery
