I don't know where we are going, but somehow I am following Grace to where-ever she is taking us.
"Where are we going?" Alice asks, finally.
"Abnegation, it's the only place we can go, otherwise we'd be walking right back into war." Grace replies.
I hear Alice sigh behind me.

After a while, Grace remembers that there are trains in the city, and our walking route takes a turn and soon, I start to see train tracks up ahead.
"Finally." Alice says, relief flooding her voice. "Anyone know what time it is?"
I don't have a watch, so I glance up at the sky, the sun is almost directly above us. "I'd say almost noon."
"No wonder it's so hot." I hear her say from behind me. I look at her over my shoulder, I see her wipe beads of sweat from her fore-head.
"Oh, come on," Grace says, I look ahead of me again. "It isn't that bad."
Then, the silence returns.
After a few dozen moments, the train tracks are just a few feet away.
"Oh, great." Grace says. "I forgot the train won't just be here for us, we'll have to set camp again and wait."
"What?" Alice says. "Ugh, can't we at least get under some trees?"
"Yeah, if there are any close enough." Grace replies. She glances around. "On second thought, no, I'd rather watch you suffer."
"Does anyone have a knife, of some kind?" Alice asks.
"No, just guns." Lamar says from behind me. His voice almost making me jump.
"Dang it, why not?" Alice complains.
"Because, all we have is guns, no knives." I say to her.
"Ugh, this is great." She says. "I'll just go cool down under a tree by myself then." I hear her walk away. I turn my head to watch her as she marches towards a nearby tree.
Grace silently follows her, she must want to talk to Alice, or cool down.
I turn a start towards a different tree, resisting the urge to run towards Erudite headquarters -- where-ever it is. When I am under the shadow cast by the branches and leafs. I sit down, my back pressed against the bark. I see Lamar a few feet away -- he followed me.
Part of me screams at me to apologize to him, but another urges me to walk away, I decide it isn't worth it trying to get away from him, he'll only follow me.
Finally, he sits next to me, silently, the only sounds are our breathing and the sounds of nature.
Soon, the near silence is too much -- I need to talk to him, no matter the subject. "I thought you were mad at me." I say, my voice weak.
"I'm not really mad at you, just . . . upset." He says. "Can you just listen to me this time?"
I turn my head to look at him, he has changed positions, he has his legs crossed and he now faces me. "It depends on what you say."
