What is he doing here?

Ricky is standing at the doorway, we locked eyes.

I have already stopped playing, and my hands are now place beside the both side of me, as I grip the edge of the piano chair tightly.

The memory of last night came flooding back to my brain, as I remember the fight we had.

Ugh why are we always getting into unnecessary arguments, it's not fun, and it puts everyone in a bad mood, me especially.

This is why I don't want friends.

"Why are you here?" I ask him as I put away my sheet music.

"I can ask you the same thing" he said as he cross his arms and just gave me a blank stare.

I decided that I'm not in the mood to start a conversation, or argue, I quickly collect my things and left through the back door, and he didn't even made an effort to stop me and talk, not that I want him to.

I soon got to my car and start driving back home, the words of Ricky from yesterday replayed in my head.

Why dose he want me to open up so bad, he's starting to sound like Ej.

Desperate.

I sigh as I stop at the light turned red.

But why do I feel so calm, and myself when I'm around Ricky, yesterday, when we were just laying on the grass and looking up at the stars, I feel calm and peaceful, I don't feel the urge to make some snarky comment about his personality, and whatever's wrong with him, and he didn't either.

Maybe I'm thinking too much into it, I'm sure it's not mutual, he just did it so he could get something out of me, well he's not doing that.

No one is.

I got home as I quickly got up to my room.

I can hear the wheels of my dad rolling down the hall, he soon stopped at my bedroom.

"Hey Nin's" he said as he roll to my bed side and gave me a grin.

"Hi dad" I said as I prop myself up.

"What's with the slump?" He asks, as he noticed.

Of course he would, he's my dad, and the only person in the whole world who still loves me.

"Nothing, it was just some stupid argument with people at school" I said as I try to play it cool, as if nothing happened.

"Arguments are never stupid, no matter is it big or small" he said as I can feel a life lesson or a lecture coming my way.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"It's not about the topic you're arguing about, nor is it about who winning the argument, cause there will never be an winner in arguments, both people get hurt either way" he said as he have the look of experience on his face.

My dad has been through a lot, so if he knows a lot, it wouldn't be a surprise.

"Is this a boy problem?" He asks as he smirks at me.

"No!" I quickly came to my own defense, and I see the cheeky look on my dads face to know that I'm not very good at hiding things.

"Is it about Ricky?" He asks, as his voice simultaneously gets higher.

"I don't want to talk about this anymore" I said as I scoff before crossing my arms and leaning back onto my head board.

"Alright, dinner will be ready soon, get change" he said before leaving my room.
