I think I'm tripping.

I think Nini's been avoiding me, she's been wearing hoodies when the sun is shining bright and hot outside, she's been running the other direction as soon as she sees me in the hall, she isn't replying to any of my texts, or my calls, and since she's been avoiding me, there is no way in hell I can talk to her, she's also been getting awfully close with Ej lately, and to top it off, she has a freaking cut on her face.

What is going on!?

A million questions flood my mind, for the millionth time today, Nini has just ran away from me again in the halls, but this time, I'm not letting her get away that easy.

She has english, so I took a shortcut and waited for by the door, I see her coming closer as she looks from her left to right.

But she didn't know she walked straight into me, and as soon as she realized, it's too late, cause I got my grip on her arm and drag her to the janitors closet.

I close the door before locking it.

"Ow" she hissed as she holds her forearm.

What?

I didn't even pull her that hard.

She seems like she's in pain, but she's also trying to hide it.

I grab her hand and push the sleeve of her hoodie up, and there it is, a huge bruise on her forearm, she refuses to look me in the eyes.

"Nini, what happened?" I ask as I see her eyes glistening with tears, what?

I don't think I have ever been more confused and mad in my whole life.

Someone must've did this to her, there is no way a bump, or something like that can create a bruise like this.

"Nini, fucking tell me" I said as I try to stay calm.

"Hayden" she chokes out and she pulls her hand back and ran out of the closet.

Hayden!?

Hayden as in her childhood friend Hayden!?

I can't believe it as I ran out into the halls, I see Ej just casually strolling down the hall and I immediately pull him aside.

"Woah woah woah, chill dude" Ej said as he tugs on my hand that is grip tightly around his shirt collar.

"Listen, Nini told me Hayden did it, now tell me, did he? Or did he not" I ask as I can visibly see Ej got nervous.

"What? What are you talking about?" Ej asks as he lets out an awkward laugh.

"You know damn well what I'm talking about Caswell, did he did it!?" I ask again, I can't control my boiling anger.

I just need a yes from Ej, and I think Hayden will no longer be standing once I get to him.

"Yes" he said quietly as he looks down at the floor.

"I'm going to kill that bitch" I muttered before I start heading down the hall and Ej immediately caught up.

"Yo! Dude! Chill!" Ej shouts as he tries to stop my from finding Hayden and beating the crap out of him.

"Why should I!? He hurt Nini, I just can't believe why you didn't punch him before, and I also couldn't believe she told you, but not me, it hurts Ej, it hurts, just let me let my anger out on him, so you or Nini or anyone else wouldn't get hurt" I tell him, he stays quiet as I can only hear him let out an sigh.
