Caroline woke up early the next morning to the sun shining through her window.

She sighed and crawled out of her warm sheets and planted her feet on the cool hard wooden floor. She walked into her closet and grabbed a simple outfit and her classic white converse.

She changed into the outfit before slipping on her shoes and then she headed down the stairs, into the kitchen.

Ever since the accident with her little brother her parents had disowned her. They completely ignored her when she got home and didn't really speak to her.

So ever since that stormy night she was basically alone in her house, she thought that she had turned completely invisible to her parents, and the only people she had left were her friends.

With Liam and Georgie being missing they were going to the barrens to see if they could find any evidence to try and figure out what happened to them.

Although, day by day Carrie was losing more and more of her hope that they are even still out there and alive. She shook her head to get rid of all the negative thoughts, and grabbed an apple to eat for breakfast.

She headed back up the stairs to grab a backpack to put some supplies in for the trip down at the barrens. She grabbed her old black backpack then she headed back down the stairs.

She opened up her cabinets and grab some food to eat and some water bottles from the fridge. She grabbed her book from the shelf that she had been reading recently, just in case she got bored.

She headed down the basement stairs to grab a flashlight to be able to see anything that could help with the search.

She spotted a flashlight on the top row of a tall shelf. She sighed and glared down at herself.

Curse herself for being so short. She was really insecure about herself, she didn't really like how short she was, and didn't find herself to be that pretty.

She felt like such a wimp and loser. She felt like she didn't belong anywhere or be around anyone.

No wonder her parents disowned her, she was such a disgrace to her parents and maybe even her friends too. It was her fault that her brother is gone.

It is her fault that she didn't go with him when she knew she could have gone. She was perfectly capable of going out with him. She wasn't sick nor was she busy, so why didn't she go with him?

Maybe he would still be alive, if she did go with him.

She didn't even feel the tears, until they came pouring down her cheeks and dripping off of her chin.

She let a sob out, then covered her mouth. She didn't want her parents to hear her crying, although she, frankly, didn't think they would care at all.

"What's the matter Carebear?"Carrie heard from behind her, she tensed up immediately at the familiar voice, yet it didn't sound right. She knew that her parents were already at work and she didn't have anymore siblings, so who was talking to her.

She slowly turned around, but then immediately screamed when she saw her best friend standing behind her, although, it didn't look like him.

He was bloody all over, one of his eyes was dripping out of its eye socket, and he had claw marks running over his torso that was dripping with bright red blood.

"Bill!"She screamed out as she stumbled to back away from him, and into a corner.

"Y-you di-d th-is to me."Bill spat out, but it didn't sound like his smooth, yet soft voice. It sounded really deep and raspy as if he hadn't drank anything.

"No I didn't. Why are you saying that?"Carrie screamed out at him, tears streaming down her face.

"Be-cause its tr-ue. Y-you c-co-uldnt s-save hi-him, t-then you cou-uldnt sa-ve me ei-either. Th-is is y-your fa-ult."He shouted back.

Carrie gasped out and covered her mouth as she fell to the ground in pain. She knew he was right, everything that he said was right. She couldn't save Liam and now he's more than likely dead because of her.

She looked back and instead of her best friend standing there it was a huge clown with a bright red balloon twisted around his wrist.

She examined him and thought only one word.

Creepy.

He had a bright red almost orange thick afro like hair, with pale skin, and a huge creepy ass smile across It's face with what looked like bright red lipstick smeared all over them. He had bright golden eyes that would make your skin crawl if looked into.

"Time to float."He spoke. As he creepily began walking over to her. She screamed out before grabbing her backpack and flashlight before dodging the creepy clown and rushing up the stairs and slamming the door behind her.

She rushed out the front door without looking back inside, and sat down on her front steps.

She set her backpack on the ground beside her before covering her face with her small hands.

She wanted to see Bill. She needed to be sure that he was okay and that nothing had gotten to him.

Hopefully.

"Carrie."She heard that all too familiar voice.

Her head shot up to see Bill standing there with his bike beside him.

Perfectly unharmed.

She jumped up and ran straight into his arms, shaking uncontrollably.

"Oh thank god."She spoke up shaking. She just needed to be sure that he was still here and alive. She began crying again into his neck, out of fear.

"W-whats wr-wrong Care?"He replied, pulling her away.

She shook her head over and over again. She didn't want to tell him not now.

He will think she's crazy. Why would he believe her anyway. She's not even sure if what she saw was real or not.

"I can't tell you."She spoke, after a few minutes went by.

"Wh-y not?"He replied looking down at her, concern in his eyes.

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you."She said as she looked him in the  eyes for the first time.

He could see that she was hurting by the look of fear in her eyes and how her whole body was shaking when she ran into his arms.

He just wondered why she wouldn't tell him what happened. She did say that she didn't think he would believe her, but here's the thing.

He would always believe her.
