Carrie opened her eyes the next morning to see the sun shining through her window. She mentally groaned at how early it was.
She looked at her clock to see what time it was. It was eight in the morning.
She thought she would head downstairs to see if she could find something to eat for breakfast, but as she tried to get up she felt something laying on her.
She looked to her side to see a sleeping and peaceful Bill Denbrough, next to her snoring softly.
Her cheeks turned a bright pink at the thought of Bill being there. She forget that he had stayed over for the night.
She looked down at the feeling of the heavy object to find Bill's arms wrapped tightly around her waist.
He was, holding her?
But... Why?
She grew confused and immediately assumed things that weren't ever going to be a reality.
Although...
She couldn't help but admire Bill's features from so up close, she could feel his breath fanning her face.
She looked all over his face to keep the image in her head. She just couldn't imagine how anyone could look so perfect, yet be broken inside.
She loved the way his eyelashes fanned his face, gently. She loved his bright ocean blue eyes that seemed to shimmer everytime he was happy, or excited about something.
She had always admired Bill for his sweet aroma and his selfless actions. She knew he would do anything for his friends and family.
She knew he would get himself killed, trying to keep his loved ones safe and sound.
That was one thing the best friends had in common. They both would go through anything and everything to keep their friends and families lives safe, even if they died in the process.
She couldn't imagine a life where he wasn't in it.
She was so lost in her daze at staring at Bill that she didn't notice that Bill had woken up, confused.
He opened his bright blue eyes to see Carrie staring intently at him, which confused him greatly.
Why was she staring?
Did he have something on his face?
Is she...
No, no, no Bill. She isn't checking you out.
Why would she want to check him out?
He was nothing special to look at, or that's what he told himself.
He snapped out his daze and decided to break the silence.
"Why are y-you s-staring?"He asked.
Caroline snapped out of her daze. She could feel the heat rising onto her cheeks, and knew that Bill saw the blush on her.
"I wasn't."She immediately denied, shaking her head rapidly.
He sighed sadly and looked down as if confirming what he was thinking.
When Bill looked down he noticed that he had put his arms around her waist and immediately pulled away, embarrassed.
"I'm so s-s-s-so-rry."He exclaimed, cheeks burning, and cursing at himself for stuttering so bad.
"It's fine."She replied, which Bill grew confused at.
Caroline got out of the bed and headed down the stairs to find something to eat, with Bill hot on her heels.
He was surprised, yet confused at her reply.
She was okay with him holding her. She was fine that he had pulled her into an embrace, while they slept.
He shook his head and sat on one of the stools over the table. He watched as Caroline grabbed two bowls from the cabinet.
Then she grabbed a cereal box, and the milk from the refrigerator.
She set the supplies down in front of Bill. She opened the cereal box and poured the sugary goodness into the bowls.
Then she poured the milk into the bowls before putting away the cereal box and carton of milk. And finally she got two spoons and sticked them into the bowls.
"Here. Eat."Caroline broke the silence as she slid the bowl closer to Bill.
"T-thanks, Care."Bill said as he grabbed the bowl and ate a spoonful of its contents. Caroline nodded at Bill as she sat down next to him.
They sat in silence eating there food, before long the phone rang, catching the attention of the two.
Caroline got up and answered the phone.
"Hello."She answered, as Bill walked up next to her. She could hear sniffling on the other line and grew concerned.
"C-Carrie. I need you come over and fast."She heard Beverly spew out quickly in hysterics.
"Bev, what's wrong?"Carrie replied, grasping onto the phone with both hands.
"I can't explain on the phone. Can you just hurry over and see for yourself, and bring the boys too."Beverly said quickly.
"Okay. We'll be there soon, Bev."Carrie replied before hanging up, and sighing.
"Wh-at's wrong with Bev.?''Bill asked.
"She's needs all of us to come over to her apartment for some reason."Caroline replied heading up the stairs.
Bill sighed and decided to call the rest of them to tell them the details before deciding to change as well.
Carrie scanned her closet for a outfit to wear.
She pulled out a plain white t-shirt, a light grey and black flannel over it, blue jeans, and finally her white converse.
She looked into a mirror to look herself over before nodding her head in approval.
She headed down the stairs to see Bill in the living room, waiting and dressed.
"Are you ready."Caroline said, heading towards the door, he nodded and followed after her.
The two left the house, and Caroline locked the door, then she put the key in her front jean pocket.
She grabbed her bike and swung her leg over to the other side, and sat down on the cool leather seat.
She grasped the handlebars, before turning towards Bill, who was in the same position as herself.
They both took off at the same time. The two met up with the rest of the boys along the way, and soon they arrived at Beverly's apartment.
Not ready to face what was about to be revealed.
