When I come back to my trailer after shooting is done, I check my phone. There's 7 missed calls from my mom, wondering what made her call so many times, I dial her number to call her back.

"Hi, mom" I say happy when she picks up. "Why did you call so many times? Is something wrong?"

"Shai..." My mother's voice doesn't sound like it uses to, I suddenly get worried. "Something happened. It's your Grandma..."

My heart skips a beat. I love my grandmother more than anything, she was one of my best friends when I was a small girl and she still is. After I started acting, I gave her my house in Los Angeles because she didn't have enough money to afford her own. Since my house was paid off, I gave it to her without asking for any pay back.

"Wh-what happened?" my happiness from before is now all gone.

My mom sinks a lump, "She was in a bus accident... She didn't make it, honey."

Her voice falters and I can hear her cry. Everything inside me fall into pieces, it can't be real. My grandma, the toughest woman on earth... Her husband, my granddad, died seven years ago. Even though she hasn't been the same since, she is always able to get every other human to smile. When my last boyfriend, Daren, left me five years ago, she told me that if he, or any other man, ever hurt me again she would sneak into their house at night and murder them with the an axe and then run off before the police could even get a chance of capturing her. My grandma can't die, she has always been there, since I was born, and I've never even imagined that one day she would not be here anymore.

"M-m-mom..." I stammer. "Ho... What happened? When?" A tear rolls down my cheek.

"She got a head injury, she passed away in the ambulance on the way to the hospital" My mom cries.

"When was it?" I ask quiet. It's not very kind of me to ask so many questions, but I need to get answers.

"This morning. The hospital called Jason and I at seven. I've tried to call you since"

My mom's brother and my uncle, Jason, lives in Australia and has been so the last 10 years. I haven't seen him since he moved over there to marry the love of his life, Claire, and my mom hasn't either.

"I'm so sorry. I've been on set since six and we just got done"

"Honey, it's okay. It's not your fault"

I press my lips together not to let out a sob. "I-I... I'll come back to LA as soon as possible, okay? We're done shooting Insurgent in a week"

"It's okay. Call me if you need it, okay?"

"I will," I tell her. "Say hello to Tanner and dad from me, okay?"

"Of course. Sweetie. I love you"

"I love you too, mom. See you soon" I hang up and sit down on the red couch standing against the wall in my trailer. I bury my head in my hands and cry. I cry for so long that I lose track of time.

When I have no tears left, I look up at the watch on the wall, I've been sitting here for a little more than an hour.

I pull myself together, stand up and look in the mirror. My eyes are red and swelled and my mascara is running down my cheeks making them all black. I open the tap and wash my face with cold water.

When I step out from my trailer and lock it after me, I hurry in direction of the parking lot where I parked my car in the morning.

I see Zoë walking towards me, she stops me when she's close enough to see my face, "Shai, what's wrong?"

"My grandma died this morning. My mom just called me" I say with a small voice.

Zoë gasps and embraces me in a hug, "oh my god. I'm so sorry. Are you just going home?"

"Yeah" I say and nod.

"It's alright. I'll tell the other guys that you got sick or something"

I've forgot all about that we're going to get dinner together this night. Me, Zoë, Miles, Ansel and Theo.

I nod, "thanks"

Zoë lets me go and I walk towards my car, I see Theo standing in front of his car, talking with the director Robert. He lies a hand on Robert's shoulder to make him stop talking, then he says something to and turns around and walks to me.

I turn my head in the opposite direction so he can't see my swelling eyes. I unlock my car and throw my purse on the back seat. It's when I slam the door, I feel Theo's big, warm hand on my lower back.

There's no way out, I turn around and look up at him. He looks worried at me, "what happened? You've been crying."

I wrap my arms around his torso and press my head into his strong chest, he strokes my hair and pulls me back, "Shai, what's wrong?"

"My grandma died..." I look at the ground. "...This morning"

Theo sighs in pity, "God I'm so sorry. Are you okay?"

I look up at him and smile a little, "I just need some time."

He smiles back, "of course. Take your time"

I push a stray hair behind my ear. "I won't come to the dinner tonight. I'll just go home"

Theo nods understanding, "okay."

I open my car door, "see you tomorrow"

He smiles and strokes my shoulder, "see you soon."

I sit into my car, start it and drive away. The whole way out of the parking lot, I can see Theo standing at the spot where I left him, his hands in his pocket. He really does care about me.
