Chapter 19

Theo PoV

I don't really think Shai understands how much this little place means to me. I've never told anyone, but when I was fifteen, I was going through a really tough time. My parents were constantly arguing and the bullying in school was getting worse and worse. I reached the point where I stood in the bathroom with my dad's razor blade in my hand, luckily I regret and quickly laid it back and left the bathroom. I never talk about that, not to anyone.

This place, that Cookie basically found, was a place that I could go to whenever I needed some space. It means the world to me. Luckily, when I started college, I got the best roommate ever, we connected from day one and my life went through a huge plot twist.

I guess you can say that Cookie saved my life.

Shai smiles into my mouth and I kiss her back with love and passion.

"You're making me really horny, Theo" Shai gasps into my mouth.

I chuckle, because we just had a really deep conversation, and now she's just horny. Not that I bother of course.

When she pulls down my swim trunks and grab me, I moan loudly into her mouth.

She grins and touches me, "do you like that?"

I slip my hand under the edge of her panties and pull them down, Shai removes her hand from me and I place myself over her entrance.

When I finally slip into her, very easily, we both moan and catch each other's lips again.

I smile a little too widely and squeeze her breasts with my shaking hands. Why does she has such an effect on me?

She begins to move back and forth until I stop her, "baby, I'm not wearing a condom."

"It's okay," Shai says, her voice panting. "I'm on birth control."

"You are?" I ask her surprised, I didn't know that.

"Well, when I remember to take a pill I am." She seems desperate to continue and moves my head to catch my lips.

"Are sure you want to do this?" I really want to, but I don't want to do anything she's not comfortable about.

"Positive"

I return to her lips and she begins to move again.

When we both come, she collapses on me and I wrap her into my arms.

I wake up when something wet hits my cheek, I open my eyes to see a very dark sky above me. Shai's sleeping peacefully with her head on my chest.

Another wet thing hits me and I realize that it's raining. The drop is soon followed by many more.

I shake Shai's shoulder slightly and kiss her nose, slowly, she opens her eyes and looks up at me very tired.

"I'm really sorry to wake you up, baby," I tell her. "But it's the middle of the night and it's raining, we should probably go back."

With a smile crossing her face, she sits up and looks around, "looks like we fell asleep."

Together, we pack our stuff together, put clothes on and sneak back to my parents house.

Luckily, the front door isn't locked. We do our best not to wake up the whole house.

When I almost trip over one of Elliot's toy cars in the hallway, Shai must struggle to keep in her laugh. I place my hand on the small of her back and hush even though I'm also laughing myself.

When we finally make our way to my bedroom, Shai creeps under the covers in my bed still giggling.

I lay down by her side, "It's not that funny."

She giggles and lays her head on my chest, "I know"

I kiss her hair, "why are you laughing then?"

"It's just..." She looks up at me. "Us"

I furrow my eyebrows, still not quite understanding.

She sighs a little and looks down again, "We fall asleep in the woods, wake up in the middle of the night and go back to a house where everyone probably have been asleep for hours. Then you trip over Elliot's toys and..."

She must wipe away tears from her eyes from laughing so hard. I laugh at her, "I still don't really understand why you're laughing, but well okay..."

Her small body shakes of laughter, "me neither"

I laugh with her for a long time until there's a knock on the door, we shut up and pretend to be sleeping.

When the door opens, Shai giggles at my chest and I must lay a hand over her mouth.

"I know you're not asleep," Jessica's tired voice sounds. She could probably hear us from across the hall. "But please keep your voices down, I have two little kids trying to sleep."

She closes the door again and Shai and I laugh again, after a while we stop and both our stomachs cramps.

Shai lifts her head and places a soft kiss on my lips. "Goodnight, Theo"

"Goodnight, baby" I say and kiss her once more.

She lays back on my chest, "I love you" she whispers after a few minutes.

"I love you, too"

Just in that moment, her voice gets calm and she's asleep.
