*Three months later*

It's New Years eve and Theo and I are invited to Zoë's house together with Ansel, Miles, Jai and Jai's girlfriend.

The guys are planning about getting wasted tonight. I've been excited for weeks for this party. It's been so long since we saw the divergent family, and I miss them. A lot.

My bare feet curl into the soft carpet, when I sling my legs over the edge of the bed.

I've been taking a two hours nap to get ready for tonight, I'm probably not going to get any sleep before tomorrow morning.

Today is one of those rare days where Theo hasn't slept at my place for the night. He went home last night, to his new apartment, and said he had some stuff to get done before New Years. I have no idea what he has in mind, but whatever. He will pick me up in an hour and a half, and we will drive to Zoë's house in Los Angeles.

I take a long, relaxing shower and thirty minutes later, I'm sitting on the edge of my bed again, wrapped in a white, fluffy towel, trying to decide what to wear.

I've already picked out two dresses, I just don't know which one I'm in the mood to wear.

There's a low-cut, red one that ends at the knees, and a midnight blue one, it's strapless and ends mid-thigh.

After forever, I decide to wear the midnight blue one.

I put on a strapless bra, panties and then the dress. It fits perfectly to my body, like was it customized. I don't really enjoy wearing high heels, but in honor of the occasion, I put on some black ones, matching the dress.

When my nails are painted in a dark color, my teeth brushed, my makeup are done and my hair, which is now long again, is sat into a bun on the top of my head, I grab my purse and walk downstairs.

Theo can be here any minute now. I'm wondering what he has been doing the whole day, usually, he can't go a day without me. He wouldn't tell me what his plans was, but he said it was important.

I shrug it off as Theo's black SUV parks in my driveway and Theo steps out. He is wearing a black suit, white shirt and tie.

He fumbles with the cuffs, as he walks up the path, to get to the front door.

I've been living in my grandma's house for almost three months now, Theo's apartment is located only five minutes from here. Even though he has his own apartment, he is at my place all the time, and if he isn't, I'm at his. We are together 24/7, and when we aren't, it's torture.

Theo knocks on the door before he opens it up and steps inside. I walk into the hallway and Theo drops his jaw at me.

I walk up to him, stand on my tip toes and press my lips to his for a brief second, "hi, honey,"
