Theo takes my hand, "here we go..." he says quietly and smiles a little.

A small lady in the age of sixty, is running towards us when she sees us at the parking lot. Theo told his mom not to come inside the airport and pick us up, we would just attract too much attention and get recognized, instead she parked her car as close as you can even get to the entrance doors.

"Theodore!" she shouts excited in a very English accent, Theo lets go of my hand and embraces his mother in a hug, she plants wet kisses in his whole face making him blush slightly.

"Mom... Easy" he says and pulls her back. He turns to me with a small smile. "Mom, meet Shai. Shai, meet mom."

Theo's mom, Jane, looks me up and down, making me a little nervous. When her eyes stop at mine, her face turns into a huge smile, "what a beautiful girl you found this time, Theodore."

Theo clears his throat, "Mom...". Theo did tell me that his family didn't like Ruth and that Ruth didn't like them. He also told me that his mom's a little straightforward, but she seems really nice even though I've only known her for less than two minutes.

Jane gives me a warm hug, I hug her back and sigh a little in relief; it looks like I'm approved.

"Nice to meet you, Shailene. Theo told me a lot about you and I already like you. You seem so nice and calm compared to the last one, I hope..."

"Mom!" Theo cuts her off, I grin and look up at him, he's looking very embarrassed. "Let's just drive home."

Jane waves with a hand, "alrighty, alrighty"

Theo and I load our suitcases into the trunk of Jane's old car and sit on the backseat.

As we drive, Jane talks again: "How long has it lasted yet?"

Theo frowns, "what?"

"Your relationship, stupid" Jane says and looks at her son in the rear-view mirror with a smile.

I can sure see where Theo got his warm, brown eyes from.

Theo looks at me and smiles a little, "10 days"

Jane nods and looks back at the road, "alright. Are we soon getting some more grandkids?"

I laugh and Theo shakes his head in embarrassment.

The way back to the Taptiklis', go by Jane telling me about the family.

Theo looks out of the window, blushing and very embarrassed, when she starts to talk about places that could be nice to make her new grandkids. She mentions the barn, the king sized bed in Theo's room and even a special place at the lake.

I like Theo's mother more and more for every minute, she may be embarrassing and open, but not in a awkward and gross way, she's really nice and carrying at the same time.

I grab Theo's hand and start rubbing small circles in his palm with my thumb, to tell him that I like his mom and that there's nothing wrong with her. He seems to feel a little better by my touch, and kisses my forehead once we're almost home.

"Ah, your brothers are here!" Jane says excited as she parks the car in front of a huge house.

The house is one of the biggest ones I've seen in Oxfordshire so far, Theo once told me that his family owns plenty of land, a part of the lake is owned by them and they have a few cows and horses and an old golden retriever named Cookie.

Theo takes my hand as we walk up the path to the front door, I guess we'll just grab our stuff from the trunk later.

As we enter the house, I take a look around. It's sure that Theo didn't grew up in a impecunious family, the walls are painted in dark red and brown colors, the old dark furniture are making the old-manor-theme complete. There are a nice smell of a mix between Theo and something else.
